I often dream sweetly of someday attending a basic drawing course, feeling that I really lack the foundational skills. I had started some separate materials on anatomy and even had something specifically on portraits lying around somewhere, but I completely lack the patience and brainpower to cover everything I want to learn on my own

I’ve come to the conclusion that I need a mentor who will dissect my mistakes and stand behind me with a knife to make sure I don’t cut corners or slack off

But in my final year at uni, all of this remains just a dream, of course
