In case the esim process confuses you or you aren't able to buy them yourself for any other reason, crips for esims for Gaza is collecting donations, they've almost met their goal of $150,000 raised. Donating allows them to buy esims in bulk which allows them to obtain more than individuals would be able to. I just donated and it was super easy as you can use paypal.

In almost a week of relentless violence, Palestinian authorities had already recorded 20 families completely wiped out from civil registry, meaning all living members of that family, of all generations, had been killed. It has been three months, and this number only grows. This, along with many of the war crimes Israel commits daily against Palestinians, is a form of genocide.
To kill entire families is to kill their stories, it is to burn a page of a people's history, their roots. It's deliberate.
"As the number of victims rises and more and more families disappear from Palestineā€™s rich tapestry of history and culture, there is a bewildered note to the mourning as people try to come to grips with what these disappearances mean."

So some good news.
The WFP is actually reaching Ghazzawis for food distribution and has even helped Ghazzan bakeries in Deir Al Balah and Rafah reopen by providing flour, yeast, water, etc... according to Palestinian journalist Hind Khoudary (this was on her story the other day so I can't link it).
The PCRF is also active in Ghazzah, providing medicine and even food to Ghazzawis in shelters.
Today, I ask each one of you to donate at least one dollar to both of these organisations, and more if you can spare it.

today marks day 111 of the genocide in gaza.
and i need you all to keep in mind just how dire the situation in gaza is right now. and to keep talking about it. now is not the time to turn away.
today i want to talk about khalil again. yesterday, khalil posted about how his aunt passed away and they went to the graveyard to bury her, only to find thousands of tents in the cemetery. the people living as refugees in rafah have been so jam packed that theyā€™ve started sheltering at the cemetery.
Tumblr media
in a heartbreaking sentence, khalil says ā€œthey are living in the cemetery, waiting for their time to be buriedā€. can you imagine the situation one has to be in to say something like that?
not only do the gazans not have a safe place to live, they are also starving and suffering from diseases and lack of medication. in fact, thatā€™s the cause of khalilā€™s auntā€™s deathā€”bad food and no medicine.
the people of gaza barely have food to eat. the children have to clean dirt and insects off animal feed before milling it to make food. medicine isnā€™t coming into the gaza strip. there are pharmacies all around but none can help because they do not have the means to. why?
because israel consistently denies shipments of vital aid. in fact, according to the UN, israel recently added insulin pens for children to the list of prohibited items that are not allowed into gaza. this list also includes other medicines for chronic illnesses are also not allowed [here is the full press conference for anyone whoā€™s interested].
this claim is also backed by the report journalist motaz azaiza was making as he was evacuating gaza of a plethora of aid trucks waiting at the border to enter gaza. and for the little bit of aid that is available to gazans? yesterday the israeli military opened fire at starving citizens who were queueing to get aid in northern gaza.
there are too many heartbreaking stories coming out of gaza; there is at least one per person, in a population of 2.2M people. i urge you to not turn away from hearing their stories and facing the reality of the crimes being committed against them by israeli occupation forces.
whatever anyone else might say, whatever the verdict of tomorrowā€™s hearing may beā€¦ i want you to remember that whatā€™s happening in gaza is nothing short of a genocideā€”a collective total of 33,360 deaths, and 64,150 injured. donā€™t let them just be numbers. these are people.
people who are not just being killed in cold blood, but are also being starved. they are being tortured physically and psychologically. they are being subjected to illnesses with no treatment given. they are being subjected to eating things like grass, immature food, expired food. read the euro med monitor report for the full picture of the destruction happening in gaza at the hands of the israeli occupation forces.
this is a genocide. this is one of, if not the deadliest war crimes weā€™ve seen in the 21st century.
i am so heartbroken i barely have the energy to type today. please call for an end to all of this, for a permanent ceasefire. and subsequently an end to the israeli occupation.
we cannot leave the palestinians to fend for themselves and continue being oppressed directly or indirectly by their oppressors and colonisers. this occupation must end. palestine must be freed in its entirety.

ACTIONS YOU CAN TAKE
please especially send donations to help supply aid and food to gazans. especially to the organisations working within gaza. itā€™s not like there isnā€™t any food at all. gaza is not a barren land. the food is just inaccessible and very expensive and unaffordable for most gazans (if you follow journalist muhammad smiry, youā€™ll see he posts a lot about the atrocious prices of food in gaza). so your donations help people purchase food in bulk within gaza and supply to the civilians.

no ceasefire has been called for.
the court has concluded that there is plausible immediate risk of prejudicial (i.e. significantly harmful) outcome for Gazans if measures are not taken before it reaches its final conclusion, and is calling for immediate interim measures.
some of Israel's acts "fall within the scope" of article 2 of genocide convention (preventing births, denying food and fuel) & court is ruling that Israel must not do these things, must punish incitement of genocide, implement humanitarian aid, ensure preservation of evidence
Israel must submit report about all measures taken to meet these requirements within one month; to be then sent to South Africa for comment
these rulings "create international legal obligations" for Israel (and South Africa)
calling for immedate & unconditional release of all hostages taken by Hamas.
(votes as follows: 15 votes to 2 call for Israel to stop committing acts falling under articles 2 and 3 of genocide convention
16 votes to 1 call for Israel to take measures to prevent, and punish, incitements to genocide
16 votes to 1 call for Israel to take "immediate and effective measures" to improve life in Gaza re: resources
15 votes to 2 call for Israel to preserve evidence, and take measures against destruction of evidence, relating to acts falling under acts 2 and 3 of genocide convention
15 votes to 2 call for Israel to submit a report within 1 month)
session has ended, full text will be available on the website shortly.

ALERT: Weā€™ve received several reports of the FBI visiting activists in response to their social media posts criticizing Israelā€™s genocide of Palestinians in Gaza. We want you to #KnowYourRights if approached by federal law enforcement (šŸ§µ thread)
The FBIā€™s discriminatory targeting of people who speak up for Palestinian rights on social media is an attempt to silence popular criticism of Israel. You have a right to speak up against genocide. You have a right to refuse to speak to FBI agents without an attorney present
Our partners at the @ADC have also documented a disturbing uptick FBI targeting and intimidation of Palestinians, Arabs and Muslims since October: We have received multiple calls today regarding Palestinian nationals detained by ICE, and/or visited by the FBI. The FBI has also visited multiple mosques today, in different states, as well as Arab inmates. This is a troubling trend.
#KnowYourDamnRights: Know your rights if youā€™re ever approached by law enforcement! Read this booklet by our partners at
@theCCR ā€œIf An Agent Knocksā€
And our partners at the @NLGnews 's Know Your Rights booklet for dealing with law enforcement: https://t.co/5scK7eb8Ba
You can read more about the increased reports of FBI harassment of Palestinian, Arab and Muslim community members in this article by
