Screaming into the void a goofy idea I had

AU where for some reason with all the tadpole stuff, Astarion turns into a bat along with the protection of the sun and such. Why? Idk for funsies lmao

But- he can't control it at first.

So imagine, batstarion waking up after the nautaloid crash, scared, confused, and now a cat sized white floofy bat.

Tav finds him and is just like: "You're my friend now, we're having soft tacos later"

And Batstarion is the camp pet bat, no one realizes, no one knows. And Batstarion knows he should be taking the problem more seriously, knows he can't just play pet bat forever... but... he's being treated like a king and come on, he deserves a vacation after 200 years of PURE SHIT. So... he just goes along with it. He'll figure out how to turn back later... eventually...

Then one morning at breakfast:

Tav: Has batstarion on their lap, petting him >w<

Batstarion: vwv soaking up the attention like a sponge

Suddenly Poof

Astarion: is suddenly, in a poof of smoke, turned back to his usual self, sitting in Tav's lap

Basically, this is a costume rental website for plays and stage shows and what not, they have outfits for several different decades from medieval to the 1980s. LOOK AT THIS SELECTION:
