It's neither of their faults that they're here. All Dusted did was fall from a great height. He was supposed to become free food- but instead he's here. He doesn't know which outcome would've been worse, but he'll eventually find out that it would've been better if a bird had eaten him.

Dusted looks down at his palms, before looking back at the other with a frown.

Dusted couldn't help but grin wider than he's ever grinned out here.

“ Yeah- o-of course! I could really use a friend out here. Still don't know where I am... ”

He glanced around himself nervously, before glancing back at Millie.

Dusted looks down at his palms, before looking back at the other with a frown.

Dusted perked up. He's.. unique? He's not just some random ordinary ant that serves no purpose but to start new colonies with a queen? Sometimes he wishes that he was a worker ant back at home, but that's irrelevant.

“ Ah- y-you really think so?? Well- thank you! ”

“ I mean.. I've never seen anyone named 'Millie'. That's enough to make you unique in my eyes- even if it does seem like a normal name! ”

Dusted scratched the back of his head with a nervous smile.

It was just the first thing he thoguht of when he had to pick a name for himself. No biggie.

Dusted sat down against a tree with a huff. He has walked so far yet felt like he was getting nowhere. He has barely seen anything so far. He felt so.. alone. Felt very uneasy.

“ ... Dusted! But you could also call me Dust or Dusty, I don't really care! ”

He took the robot's hand, gently shaking it twice before taking his own hand back again.

“ It's nice to meet you, Millie-! ”

they are here. they are approaching. the sound of the glitch gets louder.

Dusted freezes in place, anxiously glancing around himself. That glitch seemed.. familiar. But there was something so different about it. Something that was oddly haunting. Something that screamed 'threat' in his direction.

“ ...Bug? ”

Dumb move, Dusted.

“ Interesting? You think I was.. interesting? ”

Wow- Dusted never thought a drone ant like him could be seen as interesting. That news had put a small smile on his face.

“ Haha, thank you-! I think you look pretty awesome as well- oh, and don't worry. You didn't offend me! ”

He stepped on a twig after saying that, and then the crunching of leaves under his feet came right back. He still wondered where he was- this place looks nothing like home. Those tall glass towers do look funny...

Dusted ducked just in time to dodge the ball of lint you just tried to snipe him with.
