        THE ONLY REASON SHE WAS even there to begin with was because it was one of the nicer cafés in gangnam, and not an awful lot of people tended to go there — the prices being, quite frankly, RIDICULOUS. not that it bothered li ( it was rather the opposite ) as she made her way in, only for someone to hit her body forcefully. she had seen the scenario before of course, and had it not been for the fact that it was H I M she would’ve long ago kicked his hand far away from her belongings. «and i think you dropped your last brain cells. don’t touch my shit, dan.»

❛ once upon a time, he had been an easy target. he was able to pick her pocket, he was able to trick her -- but maybe he had gone soft, maybe she had been able to read him, maybe they had gotten used to each other ( either of those options were dangerous, anyway. ) he bent down, making even more clear the height difference between the two of them. “ what is yours, is also mine, baby girl. ” his hand sneaked around, resting on her ass and squeezing it slightly. “ now, don’t you say you don’t like this. ”

      when the sip of his coffee melting onto his tongue cold, iseul realised that he had dedicated too much time in the cafe ( with attention being caught up in his, still, incomplete, sketchbook ) and the signal to leave was accepted — drawing himself upwards and directed for the exit, a coffee cup disposed of in the process. he’d never been one to commit to ceramic cups, even if he didn’t exactly approve of the wast he produced, as they felt restrictive —— the option to leave taken, even though only for a few moments. a body felt against his own sent fear pumping through blood, sparked in onyx hues, as he acquainted, apologies dripping from lips, as he accepted the item back ( tucking it deeper into his pocket, as if that would make a difference ), “ t-thank you. ” he mumbled, head bowing.

❛ cafes certainly wasn’t his favorite spots -- he would rather be hitting a bar, or being at a fair -- crowded places with lots of distraction, lots of people, neither of those paying attention to their surroundings. cafes, of course, were his last resource -- too many caffeinated people, people in a hurry, r u d e people, people who pay attention to what is happening -- or, like he had found now, people who were completely oblivious to anything. he clapped the on the shoulder, a distraction while he slid the content he had taken from the other’s wallet inside his pocket. “ please man, it was nothing ! ” he smiled softly, “ pay attention next time, right ? ”

he was no policeman, but he’s still met many pickpocketers in his life, and – minsook doesn’t drop his things, too cautious to ever let them out of his sight; but, he could let the man have this one. he never carried anything but some pocket money in his wallet, anyway – just in case something like this happened ( better safe than sorry! ) “ ah, did i? ” making sure to sound surprised, he took his possession back with no rush; not even bothering to check if everything was in its place. “ thanks, man, i don’t know what i would do if i lost it, ” get a new one, probably. “ can i buy you a coffee as a ‘ thanks ’ ? ” that’s what people did, right?

❛ daniel was one to not be trusted. he didn’t come from a bad place nor did he have to fight his way for survival -- no. maybe that was the exact reason; he was that way because he simply e n j o y e d  it. he was one not to be trusted, and above all, he didn’t trust anybody -- because people , human beings, had a nature not so generous as the guy was offering to him, which made everything look even more suspicious. “ nah man. ” he shruggedd, looking over his shoulder at the baristas. “ guess those people are tired of seeing my handsome face, it’s time for me to go. ” he tapped the other on the shoulder “ watch out for your things next time, uh ? ”

RIGHT — there were all sorts of people out there. “thanks again. i’ve been distracted all day. i’m pretty sure the barista is about to throw me out, ” faint chuckle escaped soft lips & his hands moved in a tired manner, making sure the wallet was ( SAFE ) at the back pocket of his tight jeans. for the briefest moment, the student didn’t face the other, only so he could finish collecting his things. “but can i buy you something as a thank you ??” inho turned back & smiled brightly ( AS ALWAYS ) though he shouldn’t — ( AS ALWAYS ).

❛ he gave a quick glance over the shoulder, towards the barista owner of dirty looks. “ nah, that one’s my fan, don’t you worry about him. ” dan watched the other gather himself slowly, and noticed many common mistakes most people commit -- mistakes that made his life e a s i e r; and with a bright smile, he shook his head -- “ no, i can’t accept it, you know i did this expecting nothing back , son’t you worry man. ”

caramel flavored candy was his favorite. in fact, he likes all caramel flavored things. you could say it was something passed down from his mother, not to him but to YIXUAN ; but long story short — caramel reminded family, therefore he loved all things caramel !! the barista, however, seemed to have grown bored from having to bring the same drink at the same gap of time at the same table to the same boy who wouldn’t look up from his books to say ’ thank you ’. he wasn’t indelicate, so, excuse you. but he was behind in pretty much every class, therefore the books should be his main concern. but at some point, he did felt too bad for the young man and started gathering his things, ready to call it a day. he was rubbing the sleep out of his eyes when someone demanded his attention. “huh ??” he dropped it ?? thank god for nice people, he’d just taken money from the bank. “oh, thank you so much.”

❛ daniel was out of luck, clearly. he came out of his apartment feeling like it would be a good day, he would find a good mark -- he would steal great  money; but apparently he got out of practice for smaller targets. he remembers when he used to steal so easily from people, light hands and sticky fingers -- but then, the greed got the best of him, so maybe that was the problem, he couldn’t steal small anymore. the wallet had enough money -- but not enough to take loads and be unnoticed. he managed to sneak a couple hundred thousands of wons before handing it back to the rightful owner. “ you should watch out, man. ” he directed one of his smiles at the man. “ there are all sort of people out there. ”

she was of a petite frame, yet somehow still managed to bump into someone on her way into the café ( she was convinced it was her fault anyway — most things were ). she stayed uncharacteristically calm when her wallet dropped to the floor, knowing she could do without it anyway — it was mostly empty, the most valuable thing being her card for public transportation. she looked at the man with a somewhat concerned look. ❛ ah, thank you. are you okay ? ❜ an unnecessary question; no way that would’ve hurt him.

❛ empty. this could happen, but still, it was with a rather sad realization that he handed the object back to its owner. for him it wasn’t something wrong -- it was just his j o b; some exhausted themselves, others, simply took it -- and he was part of the latter. “ i’m perfectly fine, miss. how about you ? ” she was really small, it half concerned him if he had hurt her while performing his act. “ i forgot my glasses at home, seriously, i didn’t see you coming. ”

❛ he was scribbling down on a paper, doodling, just w a i t i n g. daniel has been sitting on the cafe for what had been hours now, and he had ignored the ugly looks the barista had directed him -- in all honesty, he much preferred the other one, she seemed to like all the winks he directed in her direction. he resigned, finally, deciding to get up and make his way out -- but not before spotting a target. he bumped into them, and in a smooth move, bent down, pretending to pick up their wallet from the floor. “ hey, ” he turned, “ i think you dropped this. ”

hello my friends, it me again...........ur whole mess that’s never around, vic -- to start here, i wanna apologize in advance, dabin is a whole ass mess, he is just.... i am sorry. hit me up for plotting tho @svnmis !!! or @  tuans wife™#5789 on d*scord. ok so here we go.

koo dabin, commonly know as ‘dan’ because his english name is daniel!!! , he’s 23 -- i think he is a scorpio. i am very positive about this. ( no i’m not but i can’t do anything jskjhdkhg )

okay he was born and half raised in new york ! his father entered american ground running away from military service, and met his mom there and then after a few years he was born !!!

because of the illegal situation of his father, he didn’t really have a luxurious life -- the koo family struggled a lot and dan always wanted more & more. 

so that’s how he got involved with the wrong people -- when he was around thirteen?? he started pickpocketing and then his friends taught him how to gamble ( and u kno steal while playing his cards ) 

you can imagine where all of this leads

now cue dan..............amazing conning skills, an excellent liar, just good at all kinda of bad things -- living the high life!!!! getting all the riches he wants!! u wonder why he is back in seoul ( he wonders that too ) 

homeboi is ion the run!!!! not from the cops tho they are chill -- for now -- and easily corrupted -- forever -- but u kno he got thoe Big Bosses ™ in big ol’ NYC up his ass after stealing a whole lotta money!!!

he went back to seoul because after all the trash talking and because her parents hate korea that would be the last place on Earth people would look for him

legit he is not one to be trusted but you’ll never notice this because he is all about making pals and getting really close to people

 he is super easygoing and like someone with a pretty.....adaptable personality, meaning he’ll make you feel like a King but bc he wants something else
