AYLIN:

“oh my god! hi I haven’t seen you in forever!” aylin grinned widely as she bounded over to the other person! “sorry that person over there was giving me the major creeps and I needed an excuse to get away!” she whispered once she was close enough, eyes subtly darting over to the creepy person she was referring to.

“Hey! Long time no see!” Just play along. There had to be a good reason behind it. Despite the heavy topic, she still smiled greatly - even if it slightly shifted tones. Perhaps it was just her eyes widening when Aylin spoke. Her next few words were softer. “You’re all good. I get what you mean.” Suddenly, she was back to being boisterous and cheerful, especially since the person Aylin was trying to get away from was still near. “What have you been up to? It’s been what, since high school at least?”

KATIE:

katie wasn’t meant to be at the topaz resort today, it was her well deserved day off, but some sort of issue had called her in. finally having resolved it she was making her way back out when she spotted something that made her brow arch. “you know those are for guests of the resort only right…?”

Alina turned around in her full uniform as if she was a child caught sneaking money from their parent’s purse. Despite this, her words were bold. “Have you seen the state of the last room I worked on?” In all honesty, she had no idea how to begin. Who controlled that sim? Probably left to go to the bathroom or fell asleep - she refused to believe that someone would do such things willingly. “Everything’s repaired, but should I make them indestructible? It’ll time a while, but it might be worth it.”

JAMES:

“hmmm….” he looks at her selection, pursing his lips and holding up one book — crisis barn. “this one’s really good. keeps you on the edge of your seat. i haven’t read the sunflare sonata yet! you’ll have to let me know if it’s any good.”

“Everyone keeps saying that! I haven’t had the time to read it yet. I keep seeing others going back to read it even after they’ve finished several times. Is it really that good?” She wasn’t exactly sure why Sunflare Sonata was the book of choice, but she was sure there was a reason. Somewhere. “Have you been looking for the book? I haven’t read Crisis Barn yet, and that might take me a while. Even then, Pointer Farmer is my favorite. I’ll probably end up reading that a few more times.”

KAYRA:

          “ 𝚎𝚡𝚌𝚞𝚜𝚎 𝚖𝚎?  𝚒 𝚗𝚎𝚎𝚍 𝚢𝚘𝚞𝚛 𝚘𝚙𝚒𝚗𝚒𝚘𝚗 … 𝚝𝚎𝚊𝚕 𝚘𝚛 𝚟𝚒𝚘𝚕𝚎𝚝? ”  the actress stands before the mirror with pursed lips as she flips between the two pencil dresses, holding them in front of her with and intense stare  -  must be an important decision for such a look.

Alina’s eyes darted back and forth from the dresses to Kayra. “Oh, that’s a hard choice.” She had to put her thinking cap on for this one. “They’re both great. What’s the occasion? Seems formal to me =  or maybe party?”

JENNIFER​:

STARTER FOR:  anyone / open. LOCATION:  royal pawn shop.

“Wow!” Jen exclaims, motioning with her hands. She spins, taking her time to fully survey her surroundings. She had been here before. Many times, in fact. But only now was she able to fully soak in what was here. Here or outside of the realm of the normal, per say. “This place is like, pumping with apparitions,” The dark-haired girl states, her eyes as wide as quarters. Though it was hard to tell through her smeared black eye makeup. Racoon eyes, as her mother would say. “Don’t you feel it?”

“Apparitions?” Alina could feel the question mark appearing over her head as she spoke. “You sure you’re just not used to being around really old stuff? That might pump? I don’t know, there’s a lot of stuff here and I don’t even think they know what half of this stuff does.” If she tried to take it all in, she thought she’d see too much. Better to just focus on the item in front of her. “Okay, to be honest with you, I don’t know what that means. Is that a good thing? Is ‘apparitions’ a good thing? Also why the verb ‘pump’?”

WILLIAM:

          “ 𝚞𝚗𝚍𝚎𝚛 𝚌𝚘𝚟𝚎𝚛 𝚖𝚊𝚢𝚘𝚛 𝚜𝚝𝚞𝚏𝚏 … 𝚜𝚞𝚙𝚎𝚛 𝚜𝚎𝚛𝚒𝚘𝚞𝚜. 𝚙𝚛𝚘𝚖𝚒𝚜𝚎. ”  he holds a finger to his lips as he adjusts his cap to show his face to the other before looking back over to the field of children playing football, letting out a joyful squeal as his daughter scores a goal. “ 𝚝𝚑𝚊𝚝'𝚜 𝚖𝚢 𝚐𝚒𝚛𝚕. ” 

Why Alina had stopped was unknown to her player. That is until there was the infamous talking to someone on the street interaction while passing them came up. No amount of trying to cancel the interaction could help! Alina was set on talking to the mayor. At first, she raises an eyebrow as he mentions secrets. The noise of the field drew her attention towards it. “Super secret stuff? I won’t reveal anything, sir. In fact, I never saw you! How’s that?”

How many copies of this book did they have? She swore she saw three on one bookshelf alone. Oh, there’s another! Why weren’t they all sorted together? “Seen any you haven’t read yet? I’ve been peeking to no avail.”
