Nyralatotep heard the laugh, and it did fill her with a sense of confusion for a moment, yet she did not see any reason to try and attack him. after all she knew a few of her fellow Gods would laugh out of nervousness so perhaps this being was just nervous? She did not sense any ill-intent from him for now  but it was refreshing to not have anyone attack her within the first five seconds, it was like a new breath of fresh air. She did look at the male in front of her, He was dressed in lighter colors than what she was used to, but that could mean many things, so it did not cause her any concern as of yet, Nyralatohtep was silently studying him a bit more. she did hear his question of Tea but had yet to respond, this was potentially due to her studying him to see if he were ready to strike at any given moment. but once she had silently registered that that he was not going to attack her; the Goddess seemed to ease up slightly.

“ah...I assume that there must be some important information to be shared. and I have not had anyone offer me tea before, so I would be as they say... delighted to have a cup of tea with you.”

Furrowing her brows ever so slightly, she slightly rubbed her arm. she was feeling a sense of happiness for the first time since she had woken up; this being did not show hatred to her or even attack her the moment she dared speak to Him, it made her actually feel... welcomed a feeling she thought that she would never feel in this life 

“Thank you, and I do apologize for the rudeness I did not even introduce myself, I am Nyralathotep The Faceless Goddess, but you may call me Nyralatotep only or even Nyra but if you have a preferred nickname then I will accept it. another name I would go by before my rest would be Lily. also it is quiet refreshing for someone not to be hostile within 0.5 seconds of meeting me.”

Nyralathotep seemed to raise a brow ever so slightly when she had saw the cabin, honestly who would live in the middle of the woods. then again she shouldn’t be one to judge so fast it wasn’t like she had anywhere to currently live. never the less the woman made her way to the Cabin that is where that sweet scent is coming from. isn’t it? . she moved her hand up to knock at the door but she seemed to pause. Nyralathotep didn’t know why but she felt as if knocking wouldn’t be a good Idea. not in the state that she was currently in.

“Ah.. a home of someone or maybe something. perhaps a olden spirit lives in here. after all I remember prior to my rest that there were many spirits who preferred to live alone and away from people vs being near them. perhaps this is what this is. and if it isn’t then perhaps it’s merely a Fae playing a disgusting trick”

Finishing her thought out loud , Nyralathotep moved away from the door, her face slightly twisted in disgust as she continued to glare at the door. was this nervousness. was she worried that her powers have wavered is this why she is being so careful. After all she is the God Of Corruption. she is not meant to fear anyone nor thing. yet she still felt as if there was something wrong with this 

“tch probably some annoying fae trying to lure others into their home in order to eat them. the door says it all along with the scents that come out from the small windows. plus you cannot see in meaning they are planning on harming something. disgusting creatures” She had turned around allowing a loud scoff of disgust to escape her lips, honestly she wasn’t sure if Fae were still a thing after all it has been hundreds if not thousands of years since she last walked the earth.
