Why is Paolul the best YouTuber in the Philippines?

         YouTube is a platform for people who like to watch and create videos to entertain people. The people who create the videos are what they call "Content Creator". This content creator’s main goal is to entertain the people. One of the content creators in the Philippines is PaoLUL. He focuses his content mostly on what is circulating on the internet and what is happening in the Philippines. He creates content from internet memes to significant issues about the Philippines.

           PaoLUL’s real name is Paolo Garcia. He has a variety of segments on his YouTube channel. "Tumawa ka talo ka" (You Laugh, You Lose) and "PP na Binasa" (Pampamilyang PaoLUL na binasa or Pampamilyang PaoLUL that was read) is a segment where he reacts to memes sent by his subscribers. "Balitang ina" (a Filipino profanity sounds like) is where PaoLUL shines the brightest, and why I believe PaoLUL is the best YouTuber in the Philippines. In this segment, he reacts to the modern issue that is circulating and/or affecting the Philippines. Many YouTubers are way more popular than PaoLUL, who has more subscribers and viewers than him. But why is he the best when it comes to content creation?

PaoLUL shares his knowledge about the modern world, mostly about the internet. He believes that the internet is the most influential thing in the modern world. Because not everything found on the internet is virtuous, he is attempting to set an example by correcting what is unethical on the internet. Some content creators are knowledgeable about that certain topic, but most of them don’t share what they gain, or they are biased. For example, the YouTubers are stating facts but collecting their data from an unreliable source like "TikTok". PaoLUL understands how to engage his audience. He does it calmly and in a way that is pleasing to his audience's ears. He knows the ethics of delivering the message, and delivering the message has a huge impact on the audience. Some YouTubers' way of delivering their message isn’t pleasing to the ears, because at some point they’re always screaming and insisting that they are right, not knowing the impact it may have on the audience. An example of that YouTuber is "Makagago." 

PaoLUL does not take sides in the issues he addresses. He always looks at the other side of the coin first and understands the context before making a comment. It’s unbelievable that there’s still a YouTuber in the Philippines who thinks like that. Most YouTubers in the Philippines will side with what they think is wrong without looking at the other side of the coin. 

PaoLUL is sometimes associated with PewDiePie. They are the same in terms of content. PaoLUL is sometimes called PewDiePie of the Philippines. They both see the problem in our modern society, and they are the ones who are trying to preserve what’s best for the youth. They both talks philosophy. PaoLUL has a book review, and so does PewDiePie. One of the books PaoLUL reviewed is "1984 by George Orwell." It follows the protagonist, Winston Smith, who finds himself in a totalitarian government. This government erases someone who opposes them by erasing their name, history, education, and human rights. PaoLUL reviewed "1984" because he feels like he needs to teach it to the Filipinos. After all, it has similarities to what’s happening in the Philippines. PaoLUL wants to pass down the reading behavior in the modern generation because, in this generation, most of the youth don’t read anymore and stay on the internet. 

PaoLUL is a virtuous man, you can see it in his videos. The way he talks and understands the context of the issue. PaoLUL shows his compassion towards the people he reacted on. He always said, "Don't judge the person, judge what he did," and "Support the art, not the artist." PaoLUL always believes that knowledge is power, and that’s the reason why he shares his knowledge. He doesn’t want the knowledge all to himself. PaoLUL believes that the youth are the future of the country. He shares it with us to help the country build itself.

PaoLUL isn’t always right. He also makes mistakes just like the rest of us, and that’s what makes it interesting. We get to see that he’s not that different from us. He’s also just a human like the rest of us. 

PaoLUL is one of a kind YouTuber in the Philippines and a rare one. He has empathy for the situation, plus he’s not serious all of the time. That makes him the best YouTuber in the Philippines. He’s fun, and most importantly, you’ll learn something from PaoLUL.
