I would not be the person I am today if not for the media that influenced me as a child and still influences me to this day. I was lucky as a kid to just so happen to come across mostly positive and uplifting media, but not every child is so fortunate. The artists of today were raised by the art our parents made, and the artists of tomorrow will be raised by the art we make today. If we continue to dismiss the criticism of the art we feed the younger generation now, they will grow up continuing to indulge in media that will only starve their creativity and their intellect. So yes, I care that media is made with love, soul, and passion. Even if to you it's "not that deep."

The fact that animals that care for their young will sometimes adopt others' lost or orphaned young to raise along their own is just funny to me. I know that it's all hormonal and there's no conscious thought involved in it, but the internal logic of it is so funny.
