being dissatisfied by tumblr, it’s poor user support & some other factors of the page, as well as having some ideas of improvement - like having all on/in one site (i.e. our website, blog, releases/downloads) this tumblr blog ends here and now. Thanks to everybody who followed. there will be 1 (one) last post to let you all know once the new and improved blog is going online:
expect us to come back, bigger, better and more beautiful at http://dystopiandubdiscotheque.com sometimes early in the new year 2016
around that time we’ll also finally have our next release ready, an album full of “experiments in dub” by Autonomaton!
Untill then, seasons greatings - remember to appreciate this time as one of coming together, not one of consumerism!
bless

Fool on the HIll presents us with a track of what was meant to be an album of far out dub inspired music. As you might have guessed, it is inspired by 'Foundation Stepper' by Prince Far I & the Arabs, so is the artwork infact.

We’ve been having a great time here on the fringes, i.e. music ranging from the darker dub derivatives to no longer dub to whatever we were just fancying. - No worries, dear fans of the orthodoxy, we’ll throw in a few more classics again, soon. But for our Sunday movie we’re going to that ultra hard, ultra fast style that developed from jungle and hardcore - both of which wouldn’t be what they are without dub - that is breakcore. With a great little documentary from some great Viennese friends - Notes on Breakcore. Enjoy the Amen!

Don’t Black Friday, Black Sabbath instead... Nice little Reggae cover version. Vocals do sound very Ozzy-esque.
