So I just finished the story for the FSN x HSR collab;

The story was so well integrated that this could and should be a permanent part of Penacony's story. It isnt really a Fate collab, moreso its a Penacony story that just happens to have 3 characters that happen to be from Fate.

Its a Penacony story with Fate characters in it. That's it. And while it was a bit too long, its moreso HSR's lack of dialogue animations that makes all these scenes feel stale. If characters were alive and didnt stand still like robots this whole story could've been very entertaining. The story itself is fine, but the presentation is lacking.

Its wierd how well Cu fits in. He doesnt stand out like Emiya or Artoria does. He could genuinely just show up at some bar drinking with Boothill or something, unexplained how he's still around with the Grail gone and in the real world. But he would just, fit in. Maybe its just his outfit, but he could genuinely just show up and not stand out more than any other playable character.

I heard that Artoria's home is just a reused asset for... Phainon?'s home in Amphoreus' story. I havent gotten to that part yet, 3.0 really wore me out with its horrible presentation and unfun boss designs, but I cant wait to joke that Phainon's home is reusing Artoria's home town.

Also I cant believe Oti pulled a Gilgamesh move and summoned himself. But Gilgamesh summoned himself while he was dead, so his way of doing it is still cooler. (I'll never forget the Babylonia Singularity. Even in VN presentation and no dialogue voice acting that whole Tiamat fight was peak)

For the Servants:

Saber is fun and surprisingly a burst machine. Excalibur can (unsurprisingly its an Anti-Fortress NP) burst down enemies no matter if its AoE or ST.

Archer I havent built yet, but unless I missed some line he seems like a Follow-Up machine. And unless 7 is the cap, with Sparkle you'll get a 9 skill point cap which is just funny to me.

Lancer should've been playable. He didn't even die! Come on make the trio playable! Gae Bolg would've been such a cool ultimate, they already have the animation for it and everything!

But Nasu just cant win man, "Artoria" is not only a better female translation of Arthur, but "Artoria" is what the characters literally call her; including herself]

I was reading the subtitles ahead because of course and thinking "Oh yeah still staying with the bad translation smh let me sip my drink" and then I hear Seibah say this.

I LOVE that Lancer and Saber (and literally Satan) remember each other. None of this dumb "Servants forget when they return to the Throne" stuff. It just makes for more fun storytelling.

Powercreep at its worst. No matter my team, no matter my strategy, it doesnt fucking matter I cant survive its first phase because it AOE's my whole team constantly.

Keep the heat down? Haha doesnt work.

Try and burst down its phases? rofl lmao.

Try and heal and shield its damage? didnt you know its constantly getting hotter?

It took over a week but I just had a League of Legends match that we lost due to my teammates being too toxic and talking so much shit to each other that we couldnt take map objectives. We were ahead and could have ended the game 20 minutes ago
