And so the episode ends with Zebedee sailing off into the sunset, the storm having receded.

This is definitely one of the more interesting episodes of the series. For one, the idea to make the protagonist a character who is usually an antagonist actually works really well, and Johnny Cuba works as a genuinely threatening villain. Also, Hercules helps save the day and that’s very important.

Out of the second lot of episodes (Trapped-Ghosts-High Winds), this is probably the best one.

The next episode will be Jinxed, which was the first episode I ever watched.

And in one final twist, Zero’s actually pretty happy with how this all turned out, so Zeb’s not in trouble.

Cuba tries to escape (because once you’ve crossed Hercules the game is up), at which point Zebedee traps him.

So Ten Cents is about to be crushed between the ship and the quay.

Even with the entire fleet there, there’s not enough to hold the Princess Alice. So they ask the Fire Tug, who is specifically there in case of emergency...and he says no because he needs to be on standby in case of fires.

Mate, if you just sit there, there’s gonna be a pretty big fire fairly soon. A dumpster fire, you might say.

So the wind is strong and the currents are bad, and the Princess Alice can’t provide any help because her rudder’s broken.

Basically, this is sort of a worst case scenario.
