Big Hero 7 what made tadashi a villain (edited)

so as many of you have already heard there is a high chance that the big hero 6 sequel will definitely be in production someday. The big hero 6 series premiered in November 2017 and will serve as a filler for the time skip that will occur in the sequel (or so I’ve heard). Now, according to recent reports the Big Hero 6 sequel will have Tadashi brought back, YAY!, and serve as the main villain of the sequel, NOO!. This idea of making Tadashi the main villain is very hard to believe especially when you consider how much of a precious sweetheart this guy is, I mean seriously, look at this face!!

which leads me to believe that there has got to be a very good reason for Disney to turn this adorable man into a villain. And just how will this even happen?,well, I believe that his villain debut will of course lead back to the scene of the crime, the fire explosion that he quote on quote“died” in. As many of you know the most popular theory as to what happened to him is of course that he survived the explosion but was exposed to nuclear radiation from the various technologies and experiments presented in the school during the robotics exhibit, causing him to develop fire abilities that will make him similar to the superhero sunfire seen in the Big Hero 6 comics.

Powers aside there is also one key piece that will encourage his so called “transition” into a villain, my guess to what this missing piece is is something seen in many superhero backstories to explain a tragic turn, amnesia. With Tadashi having fire powers as well as struggling to remember who he is, where he is and where he came from will lead him to trust the few people that are willing to help him

but who will be there to lend a helping hand?, perhaps a scientists?, and where did this scientist come from? well, where else, the robotics exhibition.The robotics exhibition gathered all sorts of people from all around, including rich and successful business people (like Alister Krei). If someone like Krei was there at the exhibition then there is no doubt others where there to. Including a scientists who was also out on the hunt for new inventions. We already know that Krei was not a bad guy in the movie but this does not include others that where present there at the time.

There will no doubt be someone who cares very little about others and more about him/herself and will take a very strong interest in Tadashi once they find him. This person will come across Tadashi shortly after the fire and take note of how strangely fire is reacting to his body, its not burning him up!, his body is still intact.

And I know what you are thinking, “But we saw them bury his body in the cemetery, they even said his body was crushed by a falling beam when he went into the building”. But what doesn’t make sense is, how the heck did they even find his body even remotely intact?. The fire was huge!, the building even exploded!, they would have needed to look for his remains after the fire was under control and even if they did find his body in the movie it would have already been a burnt up skeleton.

After the fire the mad scientist would have taken advantage of the chaos and taken Tadashi while he was still unconscious, leaving behind a skeleton dummy to take his place under the beam (this place is high tech ok, instant fake dummies are very likely). When Tadashi wakes up he will have no memory of himself, making things easy for the mad scientist.

The scientist will “help“ Tadashi but will also provide false hope, telling him that they found him alone and rescued him, that they will do everything in their power to find out who he really is but cant afford to have him out in public since his powers will make him to big of a threat to innocent people. Tadashi will of course understand and agree to stay with them until he can keep his powers under control. But wait, this evil scientist wont just let Tadashi, a normal human being who has developed superhuman abilities, go back to where he came from. No, Tadashi is to valuable now, so once the scientist discovers who Tadashi really is and finds out that he has been declared dead by everyone that knew him it’ll make things a lot easier for him/her.

This person will continue to run experiments on Tadashi in a place where he cant be detected by any machine or robot. The scientist will try to figure out how Tadashi got his powers, what its limits are and how they can be used, all the while telling Tadashi that these experiments are necessary and that they are still doing their best to figure out who he is. But as time passes Tadashi will grow tired of the experiments and become frustrated with not knowing who he really is .

Tadashi, over time, will however, have visions of old memories, but only little bits and pieces like looking at things from his room, standing in his school hang out spot, ridding his scooter etc. He will draw these things out trying to make sense of things but cant, and he cant look them up on a computer since he isn’t even allowed to access the internet, he could melt the computer so he is restricted from using any technology.

Then, finally one day out of frustration he stands up to his “savior” and asks him/her why they have not been able to find out anything about who he is after so long and why they wont let him outside now that he has control over his abilities. Eventually, Tadashi will realize that his “savior” has lied to him and has been using him as a lab rat. Tadashi will realize that the people he put so much faith in have been holding him captive. He will of course escape but later find himself in the same situation he was before, he is alone again with no one to trust.

The mad scientists being as smart as he is will have already taken precautions should Tadashi rebel and escape. Once Tadashi is outside the scientist will send out his loyal subordinates to act out a scene where they see Tadashi accidentally and convince him to let them help, telling him more lies to draw him in such as ,“you are my son, you disappeared a year ago..”, or, “ you are my nephew, we lost you out at sea and believed you where dead for months…”, or maybe even, “ you are my brother, I was separated from you in an accident…”. One after another these people will draw him in and give him false hope, and every time Tadashi believes in them he winds up back in a lab.

Then, one day, as Tadashi sits in his little room pondering at all the people that have tried to “ help” him, he finally loses his faith in others. Later on, just one more time, he will use his powers to break free only this time he will avoid everyone that tries to lend him a helping hand, this time he begin his own search for his identity. But of course, the scientist will not let him go so easily.

But wait, if tadashi is out on the hunt for his identity wouldn’t it be easy for him since all he has to do is look up a picture of himself ? his face is still the same after all (except for a big scar on the side of his forehead, i would assume). And his “death” was all over the news to. When he escaped, the anniversary of his “death” could have already been fast approaching. Maybe, but what if he couldn’t identify himself.

like I said, this mad scientist took precautions should Tadashi escape, and one of those “ precautions” could have been doing something to Tadashis poor head so he couldn’t identify himself. My guess is Tadashi cant see his own reflection, if he looks at a mirror he sees nothing, if he looks at a picture of himself somewhere he cant recognize it, and if someone tells him that the boy in that picture is him he cant trust them when so many others in the beginning have already lied to him and showed him fake pictures of what he “looked” like. All Tadashi has left to trust is a bunch of drawings he made from the few memories that have flashed in his head, those pictures he drew are his only lead.

Meanwhile, the mad scientist will have also done what he needed to in order to hunt down Tadashi and get him back in his lab before anyone else finds out about who he is. And to move things along quickly he will seek out the help of the best superhero team in San Fransokyo (all the while not even knowing their connection to Tadashi), Big Hero 6,

And why would Hiro agree to helping this nasty person? most likely because he/she has made sure to keep a well respected reputation among society causing Hiro to believe that there really is “ a dangerous man who was caught up in a bad experiment and now seeks to destroy everything in his path and make society suffer the same way he has suffered, unless they stop him (bad person gives Hiro a special device that will restrain Tadashis powers so he can be captured without anyone noticing who he is)” .

Meanwhile Tadashi is on the run from not only the police, but his own little brother who he has no memory of. Being hunted like a criminal Tadashi will take up a new suit and destroy what ever comes across him all in hopes that he will finally find out who he really is, but no matter what destruction he causes he will not hurt innocent people that get in the way. And Should someone get caught up in his fights he will rescue them from danger since helping others is still part of who he is, even if he cant remember.

And once he comes face to face with Hiro and Baymax Hiro will stand there confused as Baymax refuses to attack upon recognizing his creator. And once Hiro discovers its Tadashi under the mask when he knocks it off he will no doubt suffer emotionally as he sees his dead big brother standing in front of him alive as a villain. The shock would of course be to much for Hiro and his team, preventing them from taking action. And I could just imagine a scene where Hiro stands there, frozen in shock, looking at Tadashi. As Tadashi flies off with a box of stolen birth certificates Hiro would only mutter a single word “Ta. da. shi?” . but hey thats just a theory, a Big Hero 6 theory
