Not speaking on behalf of other people but for me I disliked Toshiro (I'm still seeing very long posts defending him and you're not wrong Shuro isn't evil ik, but the scene left a bitter taste in some people's mouth. Consider this, it's more of a first impression thing okay) in that ep because
1. That's his first appearance after he quit in ep1 (we didn't even know he quit to assemble his own party to find Falin) and no i do not know him in the span of his absence, but as a person who knows Laios, it bothered me
There's no deeper reason for me. I didn't analyze the situation deeper than that.
It's like when you've been friends with a person A and person B comes around who was also their friend but you've never met, and you vibe with person A no matter how weird they can be, and person B suddenly goes off on them
and you're just there, witnessing their squabble while You know, that A is a good person
And you don't know this person B. At all.
So yes I'm gonna stand by person A and say it's really shitty of B to say hurtful things about A when I know how hard he's been working to find his sister
I'm hurt on A's behalf because I know A
I'm not about analyzing B's childhood or how he was raised in that first impression. Or where he comes from or his culture.
It's a spontaneous feeling. I can't help it
