@just-another-linguist and @melestasflight both requested Fingon which was v exciting. Fingon is one of the characters that really stuck with me the first time I read the Silm, but I’ve never actually drawn him. In my mind this is like a Valinor-era Fingon!

For I am the daughter of Elrond. I shall not go with him when he departs to the Havens: for mine is the choice of Luthien, and as she so have I chosen, both the sweet and the bitter.

Telerin Portraits: Olwë, Círdan, Eärwen, Celebrían, Lenwë, and Denethor.
Well, more accurately, this is a mix of Teleri subdivisions, including the Falmari and Nandor. I ended up including Lenwë and Denethor because there were hardly any named Teleri already ^^;;
My designs for these are more Asian-inspired, with a mix of (loosely) Ancient Greek fashion. At the same time, I wanted it to have a similar vein to Sindarin fashion, given that they were all lumped together before the journey to Aman. I’d say the draping robe is something that especially links Thingol and Olwë’s clans together, albeit being used in somewhat different ways here; and then there’s the V-neck and split-shoulder aspects also!
As for the Nandor, their hair ornaments are carved from wood. Lenwë has a leaf design whereas Denethor’s is more like a twisty corkscrew loll

ATLAS OF ARDA ↣ MIRKWOOD
“There lies the fastness of Southern Mirkwood,” said Haldir. “It is clad in a forest of dark fir, where the trees strive one against another and their branches rot and wither. In the midst upon a stony height stands Dol Guldur, where long the hidden Enemy had his dwelling. We fear that now it is inhabited again, and with power sevenfold. A black cloud lies often over it of late.”
