so many people are triggered by the episode but i think it was very much needed and i don’t think carina should be getting so much hate on how she talked to the pregnant woman. carina hasn’t had that much attention in a hot minute. she deserved to hear the things that woman said about her. her not responding to the date question was her most likely processing the fact that she’s actually being flirted with and that it feels good to be wanted. no way in hell she’ll go on that date after going to see maya for some “shampoo”.

I am in awe of Danielle.

Don’t get me wrong. Stefania is probably the most underrated actress in history. But the nuances that Danielle used to play Maya and her emotions was mind blowing in last night’s episode.

Here she shows her anxiety in psychomotor agitation. Something I have when anxious. She wants to say so much to Carina but tries to controls herself. And controls what she says. Like a script she has.

You then see her resolve breaking when Carina tells her she needs more time.

The moment Maya breaks down and let’s go of that control. That’s is the moment she’s being true to herself (like we saw with Diane). And THAT is the moment Carina forgives her.

Also. I hope people realize how big of a step it was when Carina came home. Home girl is staying at a hotel for weeks. She can afford to buy shampoo.

She came home for Maya. Whether she realizes it or not.
