Excuse me.
Feanor would use a cyber truck. No I do not take criticism.

Driver or passenger or pedestrian,
Transport yet unfound upon Earth
Neither law, nor cop, nor traffic regulation,
Mileage nor signs, not price of gas itself
Shall defend him from Fëanáro, and Fëanáro’s car

Hey! I hope you’re doing well. I’m not sure if you’re still active but I was wondering if were going to do a The Ten Reasons Eru Is NOT the Christian God – Part 2? I know it’s been FOREVER but I was quite interested in most of your take about Tolkien universe and I was curious to hear more of it!
Have a great day
A.
you know i should really rename it because i don't plan to add a second part xD but i am glad you found it interesting!

Lord of the Flies, except it's a retelling of Lord of the Rings but all the characters are anthropomorphic fruit flies.
The Balrog is a frog and has a fiery whip tongue.

Not people saying “Fandom has always been like this” in that vent post I made. No. It hasn’t always been like this. Fandom has NEVER been like this until recently and if you were in fandom pre-tumblr purge, pre-twitter, pre-netflix boom, pre-tiktok….then you would fucking know it was nothing like this.
We still had the drive to create. We still sold prints and charms and made zines…but it was never like this.
The introduction of streaming, binge shows that drop all at once, tiktok and vine RIP i still love u vine but you were the beginning of a particularly ugly era) creating this bite sized, quick paced ‘content’ era of creation and it bled out into fucking everything else.
Fandoms didn’t die down when the show ended or the season was over. You didn’t mass unfollow artist, writers or moots just because they changed fandoms. There wasn’t this need to please the algorithm in order for your posts to get seen by people and enjoyed.
Fandoms used to last YEARS. Star Trek is literally the oldest running fandom out there and you got people in there that could care less about the new stuff and still have been happily prancing through their fucking fifty year old fandom today. Hell, even SPN after all it’s fuckups and shitshows has a dedicated fanbase STILL creating tons of art and fic.
There is no patience anymore. No calm feeling of taking in fandom and friends at a pace that which doesn’t make you stressed and is still fun.
Do I blame fandom for this? Of course not, but people are complacent with it and start changing their vocab to accommodate and end up making the situation so deep it cant be fixed.
We call Art & Fic Content now, completely stripping the value of what it is to a level of consumerism instead of personal entertainment & community bonding.

Guys I just realized something
I’m reading Return of the King, and have just reached the chapter called “The Tower of Cirith Ungol,” in which Sam makes to rescue his master.
Something notable about this is that Sam has put on the Ring not once, but twice so far - and both times, his experience has been markedly different than Frodo’s.
Firstly, his vision is impaired. Everything he sees is somewhat obscured by a dark fog. It’s unclear whether this is an effect of the Ring entering Mordor, or if that’s just what it does to him specifically; after all, the Ring acts differently for each Wearer.
It’s the second effect that’s really interesting. You see, for some reason, the Ring improves his hearing. In both instances, he can hear orc-chatter from afar, as well as tumbling rocks and the foaming of Shelob. But what’s really wild about this is that the same never happens to Frodo.
Because the Ring reflects the Will and Strengths of the User, I can only assume this means one thing.
The One Ring empowers Samwise Gamgee’s eavesdropping.

Nienna sounded interesting as a 'new type' of goddess (Goddess of Pity? A variation of the Love Goddess Arda Divine Patreon is missing?)
But then you realize her tears are the equivalent of sending thoughts and prayers
Like...girl, what are you doing about all the suffering?
Nothing like all the Valar, 'course.
Like they be more interested in teaching a lesson ta tha Noldor than helping every other Children sooo. Ya ken how they be.
Evil.
Tah lot o'them.
_
Honestly, all the Valar are Creepy and Evil and give me the heeby jeebies <<

One reason I love Tolkien crossovers with 'powerful worlds' is because I love elves realizing how little they are. Imagine a crossover with Fate/Stay Night? With Doomguy? Kratos? Thanos? Voltron? Ancient Mythology? The Fair Folk?
So many stronger worlds, people and begins.
I keep thinking about how they would react with other McGunffins (like the Infinite Stones, the Amazons's Lasso of Truth, Bleach's Zanpakutous...)
I think they would probally want to 'keep it safe' or take it to Valinor, mostly wouldn't want to leave it at the hands of 'lesser begins' like Men (LOL). Just elves not having control of the situation would drive them fuckers nuts.
I guess they would also demand answers about what the McGunffins are? In a very condescending and annoying way.
I just wish we had more serious good Tolkien crossovers
What do you think?
So if we are talking about the Quendi? ANYTHING beyond what the Valar said would frigging TERRIFY them. Like... all out, barely contained terror.
They would desperately try to bring it back into their lil mental scheme for sure, and yeah... be real condescending about that xD
Save for Feanor. He would eat that shit UP.

Tumblr: My fave Silm characters totally smoke weed.
You fool. No they don’t. Put away the stoner jokes and use your critical thinking skills for five seconds.
The Noldor do not and would never smoke weed. Thranduil smokes weed because he’s a chill party guy who likes to get fucked up. The Noldor are type A aggressive control freaks.
The Noldor do coke.
