"pura vida" is the popular greeting, farewell, and saying in Costa Rica that has stuck with me since I went on my very first study abroad trip with EF tours in 2010(with @outofbounds193 and many other wonderful friends I made) while zip lining through the rainforest, horse back riding, eating, practicing Spanish, teaching jump rope at an orphanage in San Jose and dancing with all the orphans in colorful, traditional-flamingo-style dresses. This trip marked the beginning of my wanderlust, my decision and completion upon studying English & Photography- with a good 12 years of Spanish being a huge part of my academic experience as well as my working life today- and my passion for photography, traveling, and speaking Spanish. I signed up to tour yet again two days ago to go with @meeshellerenee and other fellow photographers I've traveled with before to my 31st,32nd, and 33rd countries: Thailand Cambodia and Vietnam in Nov. 2017. I hope all of you get the opportunity to travel and learn other languages in your lifetime; Pura Vida! (at Mr. B's Tattoo)
