Hi ! I was wondering, in your berdly has the soul au, do you think berdly would still get along with Susie ? I mean, it took some character development for him to see her as a normal person, so what do you think was his reaction when he realised he had to do this whole adventure with her ?

In my au, Susie isn't one of the main three (I thought that Berdly would fill her role of not quite fitting in and also being the prophecy breaker). Instead of Kris, Susie, and Ralsei it's Berdly, Noelle, and Ralsei. Alphys tells Noelle to escort Berdly to get chalk (he looks like he needs a breather due to the soul) and Susie ends up in the class.

BUT FEAR NOT! Susie still gets included and some character development in the au's chapter two with the cyber world, where she decides to pick on Ralsei but ends up being swayed by his kindness, becoming friends. When she wakes up she still thinks it was a dream, but is a little nicer to everyone. Also Berdly isn't annoying so she warms up to him. Weird route is really fucked up for her as it reinforces her idea that she doesn't fit in and is best at hurting people.

ALRIGHT

You guys really liked my Berdly Soul AU so I present to you:

So the concept is pretty simple. In the Player 2 universe Kris does not exist. They have never existed, but a prophecy needed to happen, so the soul needed somewhere to go. And it just happened to be Berdly.

Most people chalk up his new odd behavior to him being... himself. He goes to the dark world with Noelle instead of Susie. Ralsei is initially very confused but guesses that this is what a human looks like.

Berdly has more control over the things he says and does than Kris because he's a little less compliant. From what we know Kris understands what their role in the prophecy is, but Berdly would have no idea he was now "the cage with human soul and parts". Why would he? He's just a bluebird. (In this case, he is the one with the power to break the prophecy instead of Susie.)

Once aquiring the soul he treats everything more like a video game, being able to see stats and whatnot. The soul, being a confused player, just goes along with Berdly. They don't know who this "Kris" charater everyone on the internet is talking about. Berdly starts by calling the soul "Player 2" (he was there first) or P2 (pee-too) for short, but once he realizes just how much control they have he realizes he's been player two all along (he has a mental breakdown over being the Luigi of the story).

He starts with a stupid confidence. The soul helps him, makes him the hero. Turns him into the person he always believed he was. He's instilled with a false hope. And then the soul stop helping. He does things that aren't just. And then... it stops responding at all. He's left alone. The brilliance he'd been riding on is gone. Everything he'd done... all his accomplishments... none of it was real. None of it was him. Everyone has fallen in love with a version of him that wasn't real.

And he breaks.
