Dynamics applications are licensed under a variety of models consisting of assigned licenses that are dedicated to a named user or device and unassigned licenses that provide access to a feature or service at tenant level. Most Dynamics 365 full user licensing follows the base plus attach model which provides a cost-effective way for a single user to be licensed for multiple applications. To license a core business Dynamics 365 application, customers may purchase either a base or, in many cases, an attached license(s).

The Microsoft User SL is for your named business users  and each Dynamics 365 user gets a named subscription.
Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP app pricing: the Dynamics Finance Base User pricing is $180 per month per user. Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management base users and Dynamics 365 Commerce base users are also $180 per month per user. The Microsoft Dynamics 365 Device license is priced lower than the full user at $75 per month per Microsoft device license. 
Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM apps: the Base User pricing is $95 per month for Sales, Customer Service, Field Service, Project Services Automation users. Microsoft CRM apps business users can also add features with great discounts using the CRM Attach Licenses at only $20 per month.
