do you happen to have any voices/accents/etc that you find you don't get the chance to use nearly as often as you'd like?

Yeah, quite a few of my better voices I don't really get the chance to use. Off the top of my head some of my best voices are probably monster/demon voices, skater/surfboarder "bro" voices, and the transatlantic accent (old timey radio voice). With that being said, one I do get to use fairly often and I love doing is the small Victorian child voice for any Br*tish person, I think it's fucking hilarious.

have you considered doing a video with your actual voice instead of your youtube voice?

Funny timing for this ask, but I have actually been toning down the voice in the videos over the past few days to try and strain it less. My voice has been pretty fucked the past couple weeks, and I think for my vocal health I'll have to keep sticking with something closer to my normal speaking voice moving forward.

It's not intentional, YouTube's shorts UI is just dogshit. Ignoring the fact that things show up different for different people based on things like phone screen size and whatever, the UI I see when I'm looking at it as the owner of my channel is different from how it looks for viewers. That's not even mentioning the other random pop-ups that YouTube may or may not randomly put on a short like the game being shown, random search suggestions, random comments, et cetera. I kind of just have to guess where stuff should be and see how it shows up for other people  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I'm glad you like it! The artist who made it actually approached me and made it for me for free, so that's why I'm using it. I'm not really super personally attached to the other one, and I think this one is honestly just higher quality imo. The majority of the comments saying they don't like it are basically just different = bad at this point, and I feel most people will get used to it or like it eventually. I had plenty of people complaining when I started using the other avatar too. With that being said, the amount of people that offered actual feedback are honestly a small percentage, but I will be making some changes based on things I hadn't noticed or thought about. The reality is though, the vast majority of people just don't care that much either way. There are also plenty of people that like it, but generally speaking, people that don't care or like it aren't going to be making a big deal out of it.

Thanks, I appreciate that! I haven't been in any projects as "EclipsedVO", though I wouldn't mind doing that. Normally I either do them without credit, or under my actual name, so I can't really share most of them, at least at this point. I also haven't really done any voice-acting since last year, besides occasionally helping out some friends/acquaintances in the content creation space. I'd rather just focus on real life stuff and my own channel, so I really only consider doing projects if I'm specifically approached. I will say that I did voice-acting for some fairly large Minecraft/Roblox channels in quite a few videos over the past two years-ish. With that being said, if somebody recognized my voice and asked if I was in something I would answer honestly. Although I've only ever had one person recognize me and ask if I voiced a character. Also, fun fact, the "normal" voice I use in my videos is just my YouTube voice and isn't how I actually sound at all. My regular voice is deeper and sounds like I'm dead inside.

What soup you think about YT auto dubbing videos?

I, at the very least, like the idea behind being able to expand your reach, but in practice it's fucking terrible. I only tried having it on for 1 or 2 videos when it first rolled out, then immediately turned it off.

Thanks, but talk about a throwback lol And I definitely do want to try doing longer voiceovers of stories, tumblr posts, et cetera at some point. I just kind of need to figure out exactly what I want to do and how I can appropriately fit it into my channel
