I don’t feel like reblogging anyone’s specific response because I’m too tired to argue with people right now but the “you’re an ass part” could’ve been worded better. the post was mainly targeted at abled people who are at fault for most of those things. if you can reasonably provide accommodations and you don’t, you are an ass.
A few notes on accessibility within alterhuman (specifically plural) communities:
Copy-and-paste fonts and unicode symbols are not accessible. Symbols, in small amounts, while mildly annoying sometimes, are fine. Copy-and-paste fonts are absolutely horrible, especially if you’re trying to convey information. Most, if not all of them, do not read as english. This is due to how unicode works.
Using accessible language is a must. Overly metaphorical and flowery language is hard for a lot of people with learning disabilities to comprehend.
Please include alt ID and image descriptions. They’re helpful beyond comprehension.
Bright and clashing colors aren’t readable most of the time, and on top of that can trigger seizures and migraines in some. It’s best to avoid them if you’re trying to make your posts or images accessible.
If you can acknowledge something might need an image description or translation and you don’t provide one you are kind of an ass. Always provide translations when you think one is necessary.
PUT! TRANSLATED! TEXT! ABOVE! WHAT! YOU’RE! TRANSLATING! It’s annoying enough for me to listen to my screenreader read jibberish, I don’t want to listen to it just to understand what people are saying.
I encourage everyone to reblog this and add stuff you see that’s inaccessible :].

Re: my last post. There is nothing wrong with congenic on it’s own. The word “con” just makes me think of scam so whenever I see the label I just think of scamgenic and I could not force myself to use congenic.

Elaborgenic is a term for system with complex origins, that are either constantly changing due to self discovery or due to the way the system functions, or are to complex and personal to explain in terms that aren’t personal to the system. Coined as an alternative to congenic [link]. Alternatively, you could also use elabortien, with the same definition but for system functions :3.
Coined by us, no flag because I have no spoons but someone can make one if they want. Read my pinned post before interacting.

Diplotic System:
A system that had two members since birth or for as long as they can remember; a system that has always had two members and potentially gained more as time went on. This may be considered a type of protogenic by the user. An alternate term is Diplogenic, for those who prefer -genic labels.
Coined by the Cosmic Radiation collective. Flag is in the works.

Alternative schizogenic flag
Schizogenic is a term for when a system's plurality is tied to or influenced by being on the schizo- spectrum. Coined by @/beyond-mogai-pride-flags

Masqutien : a system that’s collective identity (like gender or sexuality) effects everyone who fronts, regardless of if they identify with said thing or not.
EXAMPLES: A person being allosexual in the headspace, but feeling little to no sexual attraction while fronting because the collective identity is asexual. A systems collective identity being masculine, causing everyone who who fronts to feel masculine, whether they identify that way or not. A system whose alterhumanity effects all system members.

specutien: original | simplified specusian: original | simplified
specutien: a system that has a frontstuck host, requiring other members to speak through that member and causing the system to experience co-fronting and blurring rather than full switches.
specusian: the frontstuck member of a specutien system. this member is the host (or a host) by virtue of being frontstuck, since they’re the member who fronts the most. this member often experiences blurring with other members due to frequent co-fronting and allowing other members to speak through them.
this is a recoining/renaming of the term specugenic! i did not coin the original definition, but this is the type of system i’m in, and i wanted a flag that i felt fit us better and a term that doesn’t use the -genic suffix, since this is a system type rather than a system origin. i used the suffix -tien, since i’ve seen quite a few system type terms use that suffix.
i’m also coining the term specusian! being the host of a specutien system is very important to my identity, so i wanted a term for that as well.
the colors of both flags are from/inspired by my frontstuck flag, using grey for blurring, black for potential difficulties (with communication, identity confusion, etc), light green for the frontstuck member, and teal for communication!

I’m Felix, the host of a disordered system. I mainly rb plural and alterbeing posts I like because I don’t like posting them on my main. I might post things if I get a single spoon (which is very rarely). The system co-host, Edward, may also post from time to time.
I don’t mind who interacts mostly but I will block anti-endos, proshippers, and anti-kin very liberally, as well as with any type of exclusionist. Also I’m under 18 and physically + mentally disabled.
