idk what kind of skooma y’all are smoking but Martin is literally so cute in the remaster.
he literally just looks more like Sean Bean now (who is a fox, btw, & if you disagree then i’d better not catch you calling yourself an old man fucker).

My Nerevarine Malak (aka Baby Boy) + my first attempt at cel shading
Malak Fun Facts:
He chose his own name. Growing up in Cyrodiil, he was given an Imperial name, but he wanted to feel closer to his ancestral roots & changed it to "Malak" because it sounded like a cool Dunmeri name. When he came to Morrowind, he learned that "malak" means famine in Dunmeri.
He spent his formative years in the care of a monastic order devoted to Stendarr (& a secret order of the Blades) where he received defense training & discovered an aptitude for illusion magic.
He's allergic to wearing shirts.

Hey friends,
My kitty could really use your help right now. Earlier this week, I learned that she has a tumor in her ear.
The good news is it’s operable!
The bad news is the surgery itself will cost over $5000, and there’s no way I can afford that on my own.
If you’re willing to share this link to her GoFundMe, it would mean the absolute world to me (and my baby girl).

Yo, as some of you know, I’m a volunteer writer for Skywind — a project that’s recreating The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind in Skyrim’s engine — & we’re currently looking for writers who’d be interested in helping us write item descriptions!
(I know there are a lot of writers who love Morrowind on this site, so I figured I’d throw this out there.)
If you’re well-versed in Elder Scrolls lore & would be down to help out (& get a sneak peek of Skywind), we’d love to have you apply!
More info here: https://www.reddit.com/r/skywind/comments/uqvozj/have_you_ever_wanted_to_write_for_a_video_game/

wait. oh my god. do you think. do you think Liara could have been the mysterious benefactor behind the Initiative??
I’m not sure how well the timeline lines up. but like. literally who else would have:
A) had the resources to anonymously fund such a massive operation in so little time (including a voice changer and the ability to mask their identity, all thanks to the Shadow Broker’s resources)
B) Canonically knew about/and was in contact with key members of the Andromeda Ark Initiative (messages from Liara when you unlock Alec Ryder’s Memories)
C) Knew about the Reaper threat and took it seriously enough to form contingency plans (like uh, the information archive backups Liara and Glyph were creating during ME3)
D) would actually care about the survival of the non-human species (sorry people who think the Benefactor was involved with Cerberus, I just don’t see why the paramilitary corporation run by wealthy xenophobes would be spending their money on arks for aliens when their goal is “preserving humanity”. especially given Cerberus is supposed to be a very small very secret organization, ME3 writers dni)
plus it would explain why Liara is showing up in person for Mass Effect 5, she’s checking in on her investment!
Given her aged appearance in the trailer and the hints to the events of Mass Effect Andromeda, it will have been roughly 600 years since The Reaper War, so it’s entirely possible that in that amount of time, technology in the Milky Way could have advanced far enough that they could have developed a way to make a trip to Andromeda take far less time (especially if you chose the Control or Synthesis endings in ME3, where the Reapers would be helping to repair the damage they caused. sorry I just don’t see them “canonizing” the Destroy Ending, that feels a little unlike what I’ve come to expect from how Bioware games tend to handle major choices. At least in my experience, they usually just reference big choices in dialogue and little details and then move on)
idk just my thoughts.
