He chuckles softly at his own remark. It was a known trope according to one of his comic-loving members, even if it hadn't seen as much use as of late.

"But yes, I'm working on the next sermon. You should attend sometime, if you are ever so bored."

Well aware he couldn't push her into attending, he stops at the invitation and instead bookmarks his page, closing the tome with a swift motion. This particular set of passages were good, he knew, but also penned by that despicable father of his.

He should see about rewriting them someday.

"I used to despise public speaking because my parents made me do it. It's funny how humans are less inclined to do something once someone tells us we have to."

Part of him found this girl odd, the way she selfishly plopped down across an entire pew without a care in the world. On the other hand, he could understand it - the desire to be away from a crowded, judgmental place like school.

She was pretty much one of the more constant people in the church that had established itself near to Shujin. A place where she could go and get away from the school. Or, if she did head to school, she'd detour to here instead and just do busywork before kind of busying herself with some "tasks" that needed doing.

This thing she was talking about taking? An entire pew. Just for herself. Because she wanted to lay down and rest for a bit.

"Have I said that I appreciate you don't rat me out to the authorities about ditching? Because I do."

Verse: Persona / Persona 5

Age: 25 Persona: Ophiuchus, the snake bearer Alignment (SMT): Light-Law

On the surface, a pious man who heads the Church of Eden. Situated not far from the game's academy, the church offers a safe space for the downtrodden and disenfranchised -- however, this is a front to lure people into his apocalyptic cult.

Born into the church founded by his parents who were aware of the spiritual plane but unaware of the phenomenon of personas, he eventually awakens to Ophiuchus during the timeline of Persona 3.

With this new power he eventually does away with his neglectful parents and turns his gaze towards creating the paradise he desires instead - one where no one but him and his chosen have any power, citizens able to live out their eternity in peaceful true order. A cold world incapable of change or the personal connections he sees as only harmful to humanity.

Ophiuchus:

The snake bearer, once seen as Apollo holding a serpent. In this interpretation however, the serpent is entwined about the deity, preaching its own sweet but poisoned truths. It has the ability to influence those around it to be more susceptible to manipulation, although this ability does not work on persona users or those with strong wills.

tl;dr : still a pretty villainous guy, still lacks empathy and thinks he's the only correct dude in existence, still feeds people to his snake.

The world Albion hails from is much like our own, but different. Things are stranger, though many of the inhabitants are none the wiser to these oddities;

Traffic lights are inversed on some corners, cats seem to have knowledge beyond their kin, the building for Libra Corporation is bigger on the inside and the world might be truly, verifiably flat.

One night, a curious stargazer could have sworn the moon blinked.

This is a world that ended in 2012 - but that ending was just the beginning of a new play, where ABs (anomalous beings which Bia refers to as demons) walk alongside a humanity slowly awakening to magic.

A world Albion longs to 'fix', to reshape, to rule.

And on this blog, a world where the scenario's protagonist is not relevant. 💜 Sorry Deirdre, your time is elsewhere.

I'll expand upon the Church of Eden and its ranks at some future point, including the members of the Order of the Final Bloom who may show up at some point as well.

Albion is a character who is incapable of feeling empathy; however he is capable of masking this shortcoming. A narcissist at his core, he is willing to walk atop the corpses of his followers with promises of eternal life in his new world. Although he intends to keep this promise, he will stop at nothing when it comes to his own ascension.

He will lie through smiles and is generally a toxic and terrifying individual who will attempt to recruit others to his cult.

Albion's portrayal on this blog is pure self fanfic and not 100% indicative of his canon self in ABre:Generation.
