Tattoos & Self - Expression

It really sucks how expressing your self through tattoos can be seen as ugly through the eyes of some. I say there’s something wrong with their eyes if that’s the case because I honestly find it so beautiful to permanently mark your body with what makes you feel something. I won’t stop doing so and if that means changing the industry I work in and the people I surround myself with, then so be it. The xxx industry that I love so much isn’t excluded from this. I don’t care how much they have helped me in my eyes, they can hurt the way I view myself as well by putting me down for having tattoos and for that I can easily say goodbye because I’m not ugly for marking my body. They’re ugly for thinking in such a small-minded manner.

The passing of a loved one

I never knew how much it would affect me when a loved one passes. Losing my grandmother Margaret has been as difficult as if my one of my parents passed. No one warned me about that and I really wish I was given a warning because death really is permanent. I just have a hard time coping with the fact that so many lesser people are alive and she isn’t. It doesn’t seem fair. Part of me wants to dive deeper into the supernatural in hopes that it’ll help me realize that she is very much still here with me and alive by her presence. I’ve been wanting to see a psychic for a while now for this reason. I think going with my dad to see a psychic would bring us all closure and help determine that she is in fact around us still. She has to be. A soul that pure can’t just disappear from the earth- I refuse to believe it.

I broke down and balled my eyes out like a baby last night as soon as she crossed my mind. It felt therapeutic to let it out, though I do have to watch myself as I can get carried away with my emotions and have irrational behavior when I get really worked up. I turned to Tumblr to post some tattoo ideas I have for the future and that seemed to really help calm me down- after watching episodes of Paranormal: Caught on Camera, that is. I also plan to visit my dad soon in North Carolina to comfort him in case he’s having a tough time; which eases my mind to say the least. No matter how many differences we’ve had, he is my dad and he’ll always be my favorite rock to lean on.
