Hogwarts was a place Edgar never got tired of, every year when he got here it was like a new experience that he loved. But this was his last year, next year he’d be gone and he didn’t really know what he’d be doing next year. He knew he should, he had ‘plans’ but none of those were solid yet. He just wanted to stay around his siblings but he knew that he couldn’t. Walking down to the Great Hall he headed for the Hufflepuff table and sat down, resting his head against his arms. “It’s too early for people to be this loud.” he muttered, why so many people got up early he’d never know. @lumosreblogs​

it’s  been seven  years since the  halfblood  wizard  ,  edgar bones  was  sorted  into hufflepuff  upon  arriving  at  hogwarts  .  i  suppose  over  the  years  we’ve  learnt  that  he  is  compassionate  ,  protective  ,  reclusive  & blunt  ,  i  guess  that’s  why  they  were  sorted  where  they were  .  (  joe  keery.  )

dirt  under  fingernails  ,  loose  and  crooked  tiles  ,  muggle  items hidden  away ,  undying loyalty  to  family  and  house  .

The Bones family has always been a close knit family and Edgar inherited all of that devotion and loyalty to his family. Being the oldest of three siblings; a younger sister and brother, gave him a protectors' ideology. He was raised looking after them, sometimes more than necessary, but always wanting to watch them. Most of his free time was spent with his siblings or with his parents.

There were times however, even as a child that he craved solitude. He’d hide himself away from everyone in the garden his mother loved so much. he found peace there and also in other places he’d leave and sneak off to, almost always being outside somewhere. He’d go missing for hours and his parents would find him off in the woods around their house somewhere. 

When Edgar went to Hogwarts he, like the rest of his family was sorted into Hufflepuff. While his family had told him any house would make them happy, there was no denying they were glad to have their son in Hufflepuff. 

Edgar’s always been a warm person but at time he lacks the social graces some would like him to have. He’s never seen a reason to lie to people do he says exactly what he thinks most of the time. He’s blunt almost to a mean degree even if he doesn’t intend to be. 

He’s fiercely loyal and protective of those he cares about. He’s soft and kind but is never one to back down from a fight or any injustice he sees being done around him. He��ll stand up for people if they need it and do his best to make things right. 

Loyalty and kindness are in his bones, he would do anything for people he cares about and for the good of everyone. The idea of this “Dark Lord” person leaves a bad taste on his tongue. 

Connection Ideas

Friends: Give him friends!!! Unlikely friends, best friends, any kind of friends he needs them and will love them.

Younger sibling vibes: Someone who’s not one of his siblings that he looks out for 

Herbology friend: He loves herbology and all that so someone who bonds with him over that.

Watches from afar: Edgar lowkey has a crush on this person but wont go say anything to him/her for whatever reason. He’s never really been in a relationship so that’s probably why?
