“You piece of shit,” he breathes gruffly as young Batman stares back at him from under his poorly-made makeshift cowl.  “You knew I loved you.” “Jer-” “Shut it!  I don’t want to hear you!  Just get out,” he snaps uncomfortably, is back grinding slightly against the stop sign.  Batman turns away from him, he hears Jerome breathe don’t leave me just quite enough for only the bat to hear.  He turns back and rushes against him, their bodies pressed together once more.

Jerome’s lips are soft, as Batman’s are gruff against them.  The passionate heat only lasts but a few moments for fear that passersby’s might see them together. Jerome parts first from the embrace, his heart beating faster in his chest but pains him all the more.  He digs his nails into his palm, using the pain to wake him from his body’s sensational dreams.  “Just go,” he barks gruffly, clearing his throat and mind of regret, his words hurting him more than the vigilante before him.

The bat turns away sharply and leaps up into the night, shooting up his grappling hook to send him flying up into the skyline of Gotham.  Jerome stands uncomfortably on the ground, his heart slowing.  Suddenly he feels strong hands wrapping around him and covering his mouth.  He tries to fight them off but he feels a sharp blow to the back of his head.  As darkness surrounds him, he feels a needle penetrate the flesh of his neck.
