Hello everyone!

I’m back with something to share. Some of you may know or may not know, I have created an instagram account dedicated to food! I’ve contemplated with the idea of a food instagram for years and I have finally decided to make one now. Basically I realized I take WAYYY too many pictures of food and don’t ever do anything with them.

This blog has made me remember how much I loved sharing what I ate with you so not only would you get to enjoy the food porn, but also discover where you can enjoy it as well! Like really… some of you may take selfies and well I.. I take pictures of food haha! Occasionally on my instagram, I will post recipes with a photo or video because I know how much you guys enjoyed that! If you scroll through my short feed, you can find a video on my Strawberry muffins! :P

I do wonder how many of you are still following me and dreaming of the day I post again, well HERE I AM! I’m kidding. Someone did write me one day asking how I started this blog and how I gained some exposure. Well I’m sorry but it’s a bit late in the game now. Or is it? Now a days, it is so hard to get noticed in social media. And I mean.. how many of y'all are tired or seeing people flood your feeds with an excessive amount of hashtags? Well if it weren’t for those hashtags, many of you wouldn't have found me. But what if I told you there was an easier route to go that wasn't so spammy? [I know we all love spam, but I’m talking about the bad kind]

Upleap is a company that I tried out a few days ago on my new Instagram account, happy.gains. I’ve tried other resources as well that make you fill out a few fields of your preferred audience and then a robot takes over to like photos from random accounts. I personally didn’t like this method because 1. it wasn’t doing that great of a job [i only ended up with 10 new followers in 3 days] 2. It was a robot and not personal at all! Which brings me to Upleap. Upleap allows you to have your personal account manager who stimulates account growth by actively engaging with your potential audience. I also love how they do not follow random accounts. I don’t know what kind of magic they have, but within the 3 day trial, I was able to grow my account with not 10, but close to 100 new followers! That’s in 3 days and it’s just getting started. As time passes, your account manager will learn what works, and what doesn’t work which helps you grow your profile even better in the long run! Isn’t it great that you can trust a REAL human with your account? I think so :)

But wait.. why should I try so hard to gain new followers? Everyone’s reason is different, but personally I’d love to share with people the different food of different areas and cultures. I’ve had the pleasure to travel a ton and what I love most about each place is the food and that’s what I want to share with the world! For example, the bread of one place is different from the bread served in another country. It’s pretty amazing :) And I know, with Upleap, I’ll be able to share the food and cultures of the world in a fast and respectable manner :)
