The other night husband and I were watching a documentary about the yeti where they were doing DNA analysis of samples of supposed yeti fur, and every one of them came back as bears.

Anyway, the next night we watched a thing about some pig man who is supposed to live in Vermont. People said it had claws and a pig nose but walked upright like a man. Now, I happen to know that sideshows used to shave bears and present them as pig men. So every piece of evidence they gave of this monster sounds to me like a bear with mange.

So now the running joke in our house is that everything is bears. Aliens? Bears. Loch Ness monster? Bear. Every cryptozoological mystery is just a very crafty bear.

Bears. They’re everywhere. Be wary. Anyone or anything could be a bear.

it’s funny that people on twitter hate tumblr so virulently bc i get it if you are logging on for the first time in 2025 tumblr probably does suck. however i wouldn’t know because i have been carefully curating my dash experience and mutual circle since 2011 and my circle of tumblrinas taken by itself is the greatest social networking site of all time

did we or did we not all collectively play through the literal whump hurt/comfort borderline fanfic-y plot line they have in the beginning of me3.

or how the vs was used as bait for shepard in me2. or how the two were purposely manipulated into distrusting each other, but overcame that despite all of the forces and misinformation working against them.

or how shepard permanently cutting off ties with cerberus ended in tim ordering the kill on the vs bc they weren't of use as a bargaining chip for shepard anymore. thus causing the hurt/comfort angsty hospital plot in the first place.

like none of this was fanfic. or headcanon. it was all in the canon trilogy, platonic or not.

..or did we all just collectively forget any of this bc the vs isn't an alien or whatever
