i just think. the 'uncaring sardonic' side most people portray fukase with *is* interesting specifically from a lens of clinical depression symptoms. like, i like how in talkloids, fukase is seen as 'annoying nonchalant friend' . following him having depression though i think he actually is just grateful for his friends still liking him despite how uncaring he is. he just doesnt express sincerity ever. cant. easiest way for him to stick around is keep pushing others' buttons in a sort of passive way

as an aside, i can see fukase and oliver getting along decently by proxy of how much they've both been through for how young they are

but yea idrk how to explain it just. i really like the idea of "it's not that fukase doesn't care about most things, even about life's worth, it's that he often can't. despite all this he Is still a Teen" which is also why spirit au is such a fun spin on him too- it's like this to much more intense levels. -🌛

hmm ISee... yeah tbh i don't think ive ever seen a fukase interpretation that was actually mentally well and genuine to himself, whether it's layers of blunt sarcasm or just hiding everything behind a goofy persona, a lot of headcanons seem to be him interacting with other characters through that kind of veil regardless of if theyre friends or not

i don't . have opinions on fukase interactions with oliver bc oliver won't exist in my AU but I suppose depending on the interpretation, that could be the case

guyz im gonna be so real i finished all endings of hundred line over 2 weeks ago and ever since then i haven't been able to get it out of my brain it's been like a parasite

#eddie speaks #and like i wouldnt recommend this game to just anyone #and while it does a lot of things right theres also a lot that feels like it needed more time in the oven or needed an overhaul #this isnt brainrot level it's just a constant hum in the background like my vocaloid interest #maybe this is just what naturally happens when you spend like 300 hours immersed in a game #im dying #i cant talk about this game bc none of my oomfies will know what the hell im talking about OR theyre planning to play so i cant spoil #there isnt a lot of analysis stuff out there either bc everyone's still in the middle of getting thru this giantass game #but i dont want to be like 'omg i want hundred line oomfies' bc only my vocaloid and rpg maker-related interests last long #idk when my brain will suddenly be like 'actually i dont rly gaf about this game anymore'#while i do wanna make some more content of this game i dont know how to treat characters with actual canon personalities #this is why i only work with vocal synths bc for some reason my brain cannot make headcanons for other fandoms
