Finally making Part 2 of this one tooo

Are you and Jiro trying to send poor Yuri into cardiac arrest? Jiro himself is rather stoic, thinking that the Doctor is simply being a bit too dramatic. Come on, why would he feel any shame about being loved? He doesn't mind the stains on his neck, it's not like it interferes with his work? But try to take this away from him and he will protest against it. He loves your kisses too much to let any teasing or scoldings bother him.

It takes a lot for Yuri to even calm down and be able to text you about this. Why did you make him look like a fool!? Now he's not only subjected to Jiro's curious stare but also his questions. So many straightforward questions that make the Doctor's ears go red! You're definitely going to hear him complain next time he sees you, adding to let him know next time. Yes, there is next time. This is as clear of a sign as you'll get from him.

Okay but whoever dares to tease/shame Jin is certainly a brave one. And that brave one is Tohma of course. Jin just rolls his eyes at him, trying everything to wash that lipstick off but nothing is working, which only makes his friend even more amused. Jin quickly shuts him down telling him to leave before taking another look into the mirror. If he thinks about it a bit more... Some stains on his neck would look really good. Though he's not going to let you know that. I guess it's for you to figure out what he wants!

For Kaito, happiness is just one word. You! He literally treats the stain like his lucky charm, not minding the curious stares of other students in the slightest. He might get a scolding from Tohma, but why would he care? Nothing is going to ruin this beautiful day, thanks to his lucky charm! Will shamelessly ask you for more once this one comes off, claiming he needs a new, fresh dose of luck for the day.

Tohma only lets out an unamused sigh as Kaito throws another teasing comment at him. Just how childish can this guy be? He won't really pay him any mind. In fact, the moment the comments turn into whines about how lucky he is, he simply leaves. And it's not like he disagrees. Quite the opposite. But he prefers to think about the moments spent with you in peace. Won't openly ask for more, rather just will tease about how you should use a different colour next time.

Luca will blush slightly at Tohma's comment even if he's unsure what exactly he meant. It's more the reminder of what you two were doing just recently that made his cheeks go pink. He will keep his composure though, quickly excusing himself before the the other man gets the chance to tell Luca to go wash it off. He honestly wouldn't like that.. the taste of your lipstick is like a warm reminder of how loved you always make him feel.

Part 1

Darkwick was terrifying. You'd barely spent any time there and were already cursed to die, had seen hordes of monsters trying to kill you, and had nearly died multiple times in one night.

You thought at least the campus couldn't be that scary, but as you followed behind Lucas down into the 'pit' of this new house, Vagastrom, if you remembered right, you realised you were wrong about seeing the school as a safe place away from all the terrifying things.

Sure, this was nowhere near as bad as the hordes of monsters trying to kill you and those two kids, but this was it's own terror as the shouts from the general students caused you to stick closer to Luca as he neared the pit.

Watching as he started to fight only worsened your unease. You didn't feel any better until yoh turned, and suddenly Jin was there.

Things were finally starting to calm down, especially as the captain of Vagastrom came out. As you looked over at him, everything haplening around you drowned away.

In your world, everyone had a soulmate, that one person whose soul was tied to your own, forever bound. The way someone knew they'd found their chosen soulmate was the sudden appearance of a red string that only the two souls could see, tying itself around their wrists to link them together.

You stared at this new ghoul, watching as a red string suddenly appeared, tying around your wrist before tying around his own, forever linking your souls.

Your mind went blank, staring at that string. This was your soulmate. You'd found him. And he honestly was doing a good job of seeming like he hadn't even noticed the string. The entire time, while you hadn't been paying attention to the words being said, he'd been talking to Jin and hadn't glanced your way but once, briefly.

You were torn from your frozen state of trying to puzzle out how this made you feel when Luca suddenly, gently, tugged on your sleeve. You tore your gaze away from your soulmate to follow Luca and Jin out.

The next day, you were once more standing outside of Vagastrom, this time with a mission assignment with them.

You'd spent the night worrying over your new soulmate discovery. You'd barely slept, gazing at the faint red string that trailed off towards where your soulmate was. You had at least learned what his name was from Jin, Alan Mido.

And now, standing outside the dorm, you were getting ready to talk to your soulmate for the first time ever. You took a deep breath and headed inside.

You followed the string tied to your wrist as you went inside, using it as an easy way to find Alan. He seemed to spot you at the same moment you saw him, as he walked over.

"What are you doing here?" He asked.

"Hi, I'm MC, Professor Dante sent me here because there's an investigation for Vagastrom, and I'm supposed to be the investigator on it." You explained, passing him the papers. He took the pages from you, and before you could say anything else, the other two ghouls of the house came over.

By the time you were all done going over the mission details and what the plan was for the next day, it had gotten dark outside.

"I should get going. See you guys tomorrow then, I guess."

"I'll walk you back to the cathedral." Alan offered, and you smiled gratefully at him.

You walked alongside him in silence for a little while. You kept wondering if he'd bring it up, but he didn't mention anything. You almost wondered if maybe only you saw the strings now connecting the two of you.

Finally, you couldn't take the silence any longer. "Alan?" You asked, and he looked over at you, seeming to tense up, as if he knew the question that was coming. "Did you, I don't know, notice anything when we met the first time?" You asked awkardly.

"You mean this?" He asked, lifting his wrist to which the string was tied, and you nodded, feeling some relief that he also saw it. "I'm sorry. You shouldn't have been tied to me. You're better off forgetting this"

"What do you mean?" You asked, brows furrowing. He just shook his head as the two of you reached the cathedral.

"Be careful when you come back tomorrow, and if I'm in the pit, do not go down there. Here, out your number in my phone and just call if you don't see me."

He handed you his phone and you did as asked, still confused about what he meant before. Once you handed back his phone, he gave a brief "See you tomorrow." Before he turned to walk off

"Alan?" You called out in question, but he didn't turn back. You just watched as he vanished from view before looking to the string of fate connecting the two of you stretch farther away. It seemed like getting to know your soulmate would be a harder task than you'd ever thought...

-Andy hates conspiracy theories, Edward will forever tease him by bringing them up and trying to force him to watch them

-Rui and Lyca try to hold an intervention at least once, worried Andy has lost his mind (already lost it a long time ago ha )

Edward is probably my favorite concept of a character. Like before we got the obscuary chapter everyone was SO excited to meet this man thinking he was gonna be like totally typical sexy vampire. But he is simply a weird old fuck. He has lived long enough to not give a single shit what those around him think and it shows in just how much he is of everything. Such a fun interpretation of a vampire I think because as you get older the more you realize you don't have to shape yourself to fit others molds, I am only 19 so I have only seen that second hand. No matter how much I try to force myself into not caring. Edward is literally if that effect continued on and on and on for multiple lifetimes and he truly cannot give less of a shit about the perceptions of others. Super awesome to me, a youth. Also his name is Edward which just adds to the baiting of "hey guys we have a sexy vampire~ come play our game his name is Edward like popular sexy vampire" and then you get tricked after you're already invested haha.

I have a couple of projects I'm super excited about doing. One is for Edward, and without spoiling much, it's a sort of soulmate idea. The other one I'm excited about is a definite soulmate type idea for Alan.. Aside from those two, i have like 7?? Different things in my drafts, i get an idea, jot it down into a draft, and then just slowly work at it.

OMG, EDWARD REQUEST!! I've actually never had a request for him yet, so thank u!!! I love this idea so much. He needs someone to tease the shit outta him because i think that would be such a funny dynamic with him because he could just have fun with it too

It had been a few days since you'd all gotten back to Darkwick from the whole Love Island dating show case, and you were glad for the chance to just relax.

You liked all of the ghouls, but it was definitely nice not being trapped on an island with a bunch of them at once. That being said, though, you missed a couple of them and were on your way to visit.

You liked Rui's company a lot, and before this latest mission you'd always kind of been on the fence about Edward, but you'd gotten to know him more and started to appreciate who he was a person too, not just the vampire you were uncertain of. You felt you'd gained a bit more of a bond with him, certainly at least enough of one to see him as a friend now, not that you'd tell him that.

"Hi Rui, hi Lyca!" You greeted when you walked into the blonde's bar.

"Hey Cutie~"

"Hey"

"What, I don't even get a greeting?" Edward teased, and you blinked in surprise. You were so used to the vampire not being there that you hadn't even noticed him sitting at the very end of the bar.

"Oh, sorry, Ed, how's it going?" You replied, taking your seat before it dawned on you as you saw the grin across Edward's face.

You'd never called him by his nickname, always referring to him by his full name. You figured the switch to calling him a friend in your mind had somehow also flipped the switch of nickname = friend status.

"Oh, has our favorite inspector finally warmed up to me?" Edward teased and you huff.

"I don't know what you're talking about, Edward." You teased back, making his grin grow wider.

"Oh, how you wound my fragile old heart."

"Old? Edward, you're practically ancient. I've seen how you're falling apart at the seams."

He gasped and placed a hand against his chest. "You, my dear inspector, finally get me. See Rui, our lovely inspector here understands me. Why can't you be more sympathetic."

Rui just rolled his eyes, though he wore a small smile on his face.

"Seeing as how you understand my plight, won't you help me get my poor ancient bones back to my room?" Edward pleaded, turning his attention back to you.

"And risk you crumbling to dust all over my uniform?"

Edward broke out into a laugh at that one. He sighed dramatically and slowly stood up. "Just know, if I pass away on the way to my room, it's your fault inspector." He teased.

You rolled your eyes and grinned, "You wouldn't do that to Rui, afterall if you're gone, he wouldn't have to clean up anyone else's mess."

"Fair point." He mused before leaning in to whisper to you "I shall see you later, dear inspector" before he started to walk off.

"See you later, Ed." You called back, making him smile.
