tiny Edward in my short amount of human life i have still realised that your perception of cruelty is based on a distorted perception of self.

if you could see yourself from the perspective of people who truly love you, you can picture yourself as a kind, careful, caring and precise individual. try and look at your existence from your loved ones perspective. their experiences are based on your behaviour, and if they love you, you may not be as damned as you think to be.

but obviously your thoughts are shaped based on how u identify yourself and comparatively that's a larger sum of time. however I hope you would keep what I said filed somewhere in your mind.

really everyone you love has something miserably wrong with them or an obvious flaw that won't ever be fixed but like it's up to you what kind of person you can and cannot deal with. someone in my family has anger issues which I can handle and diffuse with no problem, but a person who can't tolerate yelling could not be close to him. another person I know is very anxious & needs constant reassurance and she gets along famously with gentler and more straightforward people than myself, but I can't handle being second guessed all the time. someone who is loosey goosey with their morals wouldn't bother me, but a person with a profound sense of justice makes me feel afraid of getting on their bad side. none of these traits actually make someone a bad person & just because there are personalities I can't handle doesnt mean I'M a bad person either. litany against callout posts for stupid shit and simple incompatibilities we all have to live on this earth together & need to learn how to deal with each other

Honestly it’s so funny that Edward turned out to be absolute shite at tracking. I love it.

He’s got a great many talents but when it came down to the very important task of tracking down the biggest threat to the love of his life he just. Fumbled. So hard. He blew it. And just gave up and curled up into a ball in Rio about it. Had no idea whatsoever that Victoria was actively stalking and plotting against Bella.

Like. smeyer is notorious for her plot holes. But she bothered to fill this one, and the filling was “yeah he tried. he just sucks”
