Had a major breakthrough working on my dhampir origin mod! (NOT a race mod - this will allow the character to be any race AND ALSO a dhampir from Van Richten's Guide to Ravenloft, to be clear.) I originally couldn't figure out how to apply action resources to the unique origin, but looking at the Dark Urge coding helped.

Her name is Madeline Corbeau. She's a wizard necromancer!

Madline's mother, Rosia, was a vampire spawn. The closest thing she has to a father-figure, Alaric Corbeau, is a vampire lord.

Alaric turned Rosia into his spawn when she was 8 months pregnant. This induced a premature birth for Madeline and also resulted in her being born a dhampir.

Madeline had a pretty fucked up and isolating childhood, being raised in a vampire household. Alaric took a special interest in teaching her his own lack of morality, and since the only other people around—including her own mother—were all spawn under his complete control, there was no one to object.

Alaric 100% planned on making Madeline into a full vampire and another one of his brides once she reached maturity. This was something she thought would be wonderful and perfect; again, she had literally no outside influence on her life, so he was easily able to groom her.

However, their home was raided by a group of monster hunters before that happened. When the hunters found Madeline, they mistook her as being a completely mortal and normal half-elf woman who needed saving. Two of the hunters essentially kidnapped her as the others kept up the fight against Alaric, and while they would lose, Madeline became separated. (Alaric ended up getting away, and is still out there somewhere.)

After realizing Madeline was a dhampir, the two remaining hunters had a real big argument over whether or not they should kill her or try to "save her soul" so to speak. They ultimately decided the later.

The hunters had to keep Madeline restrained at all times at first, afraid she would run away or attack (she would have). But being kind and friendly slowly taught her that her worldview was very, very skewed. It wasn't too long before she decided to stay with the hunters willingly.

Madeline travelled with the two hunters for about six months, before being abducted by the mind flayers. She's pretty sure she's the only one of the three to survive, and she is VERY confused about what she's supposed to do without them to teach her right from wrong anymore.

She's gonna romance Shadowheart for sure.

Ok so some time ago, this brazilian artist I follow opened up commissions and since I had some money with me, I got to talk to her and yesterday she sent me the finished piece (and gave me permission to post it) and i'm just AAAAAA

The artist is Dora Lauer, this is her Instagram, and she takes commissions both nationally and internationally (so much so she has her commission posts in english and portuguese) and she's just awesome, I'm so in love with this drawing and how it turned out

I modded this for a new Tav I'm working on, Madeline. (Well, technically she is just a re-imagining of Nialla...) I'm happy to share it with you!

This dress is available for body type 1 humans, elves, drow, half-elves, and tieflings. It can be dyed. There are both armour and camp clothing versions available.

I'm still not satisfied with the outfit I rushed together for Nialla tbh. I'd like something cute, light and a little bit sexy, I just don't have a solid idea in mind. So I'm interested in seeing what mods from other creators are out there!
