"Griffin Conroy is one of those people who you don't think is real until you actually meet him. He's charming without any effort, and he's got a smile that could make even the most jaded old man in the world crack one too. Its infectious. He's also on the track team with me, and he's pretty damn fast. And he's even faster in a car. I don't think there's a single person in Tulsa who can say they've beaten him in a drag race and they aren't lying straight through their teeth. His nickname 'Smokes' comes from the fact that as soon the starter lowers the flag, he’s gone so fast his tires are smoking. I’m pretty sure its an exaggeration, but I wouldn’t be surprised if its based partly in truth. Drag racing was actually how he met Sodapop. He kicked his and Steve's ass during a race, and walked up to their car, smiling and saying that was a good race and they almost had him. Him and Soda meshed well together and have been best friends ever since. I like Griff a lot, but, then again, everyone in Tulsa likes Griff."
*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*
Griffin Conroy was born to a runaway father and a mom that works two jobs to keep him and his brother and sister fed. Griff hates when she takes on more than she can handle, so that's how he got into drag racing. Yes, he loved the thrill he got speeding down the highway, but he mainly did it for the money he made off of the organized races, so he can help his mom with the bills, even though he’s already got a job working at the DX. He’s kind and loyal as a dog, completely selfless when it comes to the ones he loves. He’s always done his best to look on the bright side of things, maybe for the sake of those around him, but also for his own sake. He needs to believe that things around him aren’t falling apart, of else he’ll probably do just that. He puts on a smile and spits out a joke or two, but that doesn’t mean he’s happy all the time. He’s doing it to make others happy.
If only he cared about his own feelings as much as he cared about others’.

"I'm pretty damn glad Boxer is looking out for the Losers club. He's kind of scary when you first meet him, but if he likes you, you find out he's actually pretty nice. He guards Eddie like a doberman, but not because he thinks Eddie is weak. It's simply because he'd die for that kid. He'd die for anyone he cares about. His dad is an asshole. Been beating up on Boxer since he was a kid, and I think he's just gotten used to it.. Hell, he seems to *thrive* off of pain. Its why he gets into so many fights. The guy's got a new bruise every day, either from a fight or his dad. Its honestly kind of scary how much he ignores himself just for the sake of others. He could be bleeding because Bowers almost beat him half to death (but Boxer probably did equal damage on him), and he'd still be trying to help Eddie pick up the pills he dropped and trying to find Eddie's inhaler and Richie's glasses because they dropped them."
*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*
Jack Denver was born to an abusive alcoholic father and a quiet and scared mother. He grew up in New York City, and got used to bottles smashing against the walls and his father screaming at his weeping mother. That doesn't mean he never went to sleep scared, though. His mother killed herself when he was about eight, unable to take anymore of his father's terror. Mr. Denver moved the two of them to Derry when Jack was about nine, not out of concern for his son, but because he got mixed up with some shady stuff and wanted to save his own ass. The abuse never stopped, but eventually, Jack taught himself how to fight, earning him his nickname among his peers: Boxer. He became the toughest kid in school, no one with a brain messed with him. Well.. Except the Bowers gang. But he kicked their asses every time. Boxer came into contact with the Losers club when he came across Richie Tozier getting jumped by the Bowers gang, and he promptly beat the hell out of them. When he turned to Richie, covered in blood in bruises, and asked, "You okay, kid?" Richie saw what just might be the coolest sonofabitch he'd ever seen. So now, Boxer is a member of the Losers club. He also has a gang of his own that constantly runs into the Losers club, so they hang out together. Oh, and another thing you should know about Boxer. His big fat crush on Lorelei Kaspbrak. Richie always teases him for how hard he tries around her. Always wanting to be the funniest and most entertaining guy in the room. He calls her 'Lori', and the other Losers have sensed its his nickname for her. So they don't call her that. She's an angel come to earth in his eyes.

Houston James
ā€œHouston is probably the coolest guy you could ever meet. I mean, even in the Welton uniform, he looks like he stepped right out of one of those John Wayne movies. And he talks like a cowboy too. Half the time, I don’t know what the hell he’s talking about.. BUT I am definitely stealing some of those southern insults he uses, oh my GOD. Another thing about Houston, he’s got this way of talking that gives him this southern gentleman charm. He treats girls really well too, just smiling at them and talking to them softly like they were as fragile as a flower, and his southern accent just makes them swoon. And he doesn’t even realize it! But yeah, he’s loyal as a dog, and he’s a good friend to have in your corner.ā€ - Charlie Dalton, 1959
Dead Poet
Age: 17
Gender: Male (he/him)
Sexuality: Bisexual
MBTI: ISFP
Birthday: October 17th
Family: Kieran James (father), Abigail James (mother), Boone James (older brother), Colt James (younger brother)
Backstory: Houston was brought up in a loving home in Arkansas. He was brought up with too much money to be called a hillbilly, but he was still a bonafide country boy even if he did have a pretty wealthy upbringing. He roughhoused with his brothers, went fishing and hunting with his dad, and was born with a cowboy hat seemingly glued to his head and dirt and mud on his boots. He also grew up in Sunday school. He was always uneasy about how he felt certain things lots of boys his age didn’t, but his mother’s biggest principle was ā€˜love thy neighbor’ and his father was a surprisingly open minded man for a Southern man, so he knew he would probably be okay if he told them. But just to be safe, he won’t. Besides, its safer that way. Houston’s southern self ended up in Vermont because his parents knew he had a brilliant mind, and wanted him to have as many opportunities as possible, so they sent him off to Welton. Houston.. Was lost. So lost. The way everyone dressed, how they talked was so different from himself.. Hell, he even felt he walked different than these city boys! He felt like a total black sheep.. He’d talk how he would’ve talked back home, and he’d get weird looks from all of his peers, because what the hell does Houston mean that this ā€˜all seemed pretty darn cattywampus’? He’d just shut down at that.. But then he met Charlie Dalton and Neil Perry, who actually thought that the way he talked was.. Cool! And they always asked him what that one means, and would try (and fail, miserably) to incorporate it into their own conversations. Safe to say, that meant a lot to Houston. So, thats how he made his first two friends at Welton. And how he managed to become a member of the Dead Poets Society
Hobbies/interests: Westerns, reading (his favorite authors are Mark Twain and Ernest Hemingway, but he loves western novels too), poetry, animals (especially horses and dogs), hanging out with the Poets
Hair: Blonde
Eyes: Blue
Other appearance details: He has freckles across his nose and cheeks from sun exposure. He also has dimples
Faceclaim: young! Lucas Till
Tumblr media
ā€œI tell you what, Nolan is a highfalutin son of bitch that’s too big for his britches. … Yes, Charlie, you can add that one to your little notebook.ā€
Dynamics
Neil: Neil was one of the first friends Houston made at Welton. He felt so out of place and isolated due to his very different background, so someone who found his slang and accent interesting was something he really appreciated. When Neil died, Houston stayed tough and tried to be there for everyone, but hardly ever accepted the rare help offered to him (a habit he got from his momma). But God, some nights he wished he did…
Todd: They get along well, Houston knows how it feels to feel out of place, so he tries to help Todd out when he can. Explaining inside jokes, giving context to a joke made about something that happened before Todd came to Welton, that kind of stuff.
Charlie: Charlie really brings Houston out of his shell. They get along well, and Charlie is kind of into westerns now, thanks to Houston.
Knox: They’re neutral on each other, but they get along. Houston isn’t a fan of how Knox treats Chris, though (lets be fr, Houston really could ā€œsteal Chris awayā€ (as Knox puts it) from Knox, so Knox never lets them meet LMFAO-)
Meeks: You’d think these two would just be acquaintances that hang around the same people. But no, actually, they get along very well. Thanks to Meeks, Houston likes sci-fi now, and Meeks has been dabbling in westerns.
Pitts: Besties and I don’t even have an explanation as to why. Its SO random, NONE of the Poets can explain how it happened, but it works.
Cameron: Houston was raised to be polite and kind to everyone, and thats what he is to Cameron: Polite and kind. He’ll tell Charlie to hush his mouth if he’s being particularly harsh on Cameron and he’ll do his best to include Cameron in conversations. During that scene where Charlie is playing the saxophone, Houston noticed that Cameron wasn’t exactly sitting with the group, and he asked him, ā€œCam, whatcha doin’ up there by your lonesome? Come down here!ā€ and scooted over and patted the spot next to him (HE’S SUCH A SWEETHEART, YOU GUYSšŸ˜šŸ’—)

Nick ā€˜Nickie’ Jacobs
ā€œNick is.. God, what do I even say. He’s a lot. Anyone can tell you that. But everyone is charmed by his loud chaos anyway. He’s reckless, charming, stubborn, and he’s got a smile that he uses as a weapon to get what he wants and a burning hatred for rules. Ask mom or dad, and they’ll both tell you he was easily the most difficult out of me, Sarah or Les. Honestly.. I feel bad for any girl that goes on to marry him.. She’s certainly in for it. Then again, I really can’t see Nick ever settling down. He’s someone that doesn’t like staying in place for too long. Its why he doesn’t even last a month with some girls.ā€ - David Jacobs, 1899
David’s twin and polar opposite.
Age: 16 (he’s older than David by five minutes and is happy to remind you)
Gender: Male (he/him)
Sexuality: Bisexual (no preference)
MBTI: ENTP
Family: Mayer Jacobs (father), Esther Jacobs (mother), Sarah Jacobs (older sister + Irish twin), David Jacobs (fraternal twin brother), Les Jacobs (younger brother)
Backstory: Ever since him and David were born, Nickie has seemed to have made it his mission to outshine everyone around him. Nickie loves being the center of attention, and David is content to let him have at it. He’s the fun, completely non-strict older brother to Les, always assisting him when he wants go get into some occasional mischief (because, you know, little kids). Sarah and David basically have to babysit him and Les when their parents are out of the house. Nickie’s loyalty never dies. Once you’re friends, you’re friends for life. But in relationships? Lets just say he gets claustrophobic and splits..
Hobbies/interests: Talking to people (yapper), getting into mischief, teasing people, doing impressions, gossip (if he’s your friend, his lips are sealed, but otherwise? You aren’t safe.), flirting with girls
Hair: Dark brown
Eyes: Brown
Faceclaim: Froy Gutierrez
Tumblr media
ā€œLes, the hell you doin’ with that cigar?! You hold it between your thumb and your index, do you WANNA burn your fingers off?!ā€
Dynamics
Jack: Dare I say it, they’re besties. BUTTT always know that if Javid has a thousand fans, Nickie is one of them. If Javid has a hundred fans Nickie is still one of them. If Javid has one fan, that fan is Nickie. If Javid has no fans, Nickie is fucking dead. Did I mention that Nickie is a MASSIVE Javid supporter? He just loves how Jack brings his baby twin brother out of his shell <3 But he doesn’t tell Jack that. He plays the role of the protective big brother, after all
David: They butt heads constantly. Always have, always will. Its only really because of their personalities clashing, though. Nickie has always been massively protective of David, ever since they were kids. Some kid tried to pick on him by stealing his toy? Nickie would march on over and push them to the ground and demand that they give it back. He definitely pulls the ā€œHave him home by nineā€ thing to embarrass David when Jack comes to take him out to do something LMFAO
Les: PARTNERS IN CRIME. Nickie is honestly a bad influence on Les lowkey, but Les still loves his big brother a lot <3
Sarah: As chaotic as he is, if he notices his sister is particularly stressed today, then he’ll calm down a little and try to be more quiet and help around the house <3
Racetrack: BESTIES ONCE AGAIN. Oh my GOD the teasing and chaos that goes on in the boarding house thanks to these two….
Spot: Some days they’re pretty good friends, other days they seem like archenemies LMAO IT REALLY DEPENDS-

Wallace ā€˜Willie’ Delaney
ā€œI like Willie! He’s got a good head on his shoulders and he knows how to talk folks into buyin’ his papes. Boy, he knows how to talk. I betcha he learned from his old man, Willie mentioned he was in business or somethin’. He ain’t a chatterbox like Tweety, but he’s still a good guy. But he’s always worryin’ ā€˜bout the rules and gettin’ caught. He’s only sixteen, why’s he always worryin’? Its like he’s done forgotten how to be a kid..ā€ - Racetrack Higgins, 1899
Tweety’s older brother and all he has left.
Age: 16
Gender: Male (he/him)
Sexuality: Bisexual (slight male preference +🚪)
MBTI: ISTJ
Family: Charles Delaney (father; deceased), Anna Delaney (mother; deceased), Roy ā€˜Tweety’ Delaney (younger brother)
Backstory: Willie was verge close to his parents growing up, and he was ecstatic to get a baby brother. When he was little, Willie was a very carefree little boy, not worrying about hardly anything. He was also very energetic, always wanting his parents to play with him. Then along came typhoid fever, which killed both of his parents. Both of their parents had no siblings and they grew up not really knowing their grandparents so Willie and Tweety were basically left with no one but each other. They got placed in a less than ideal orphanage, and this was where Willie began to change. He started to worry about a lot more things than he used to, like if him and Tweety were going to be able to eat tonight, whats going to happen when they get too old to live in the orphanage, just so many things that he didn’t even have to think about before all of this. Then he met Mr. Klopmann. He had taken up a job shining shoes, and he met Klopmann through that. As he shined his shoes, Willie purposely mentioned that the orphanage him and Tweety were living in didn’t exactly offer the best conditions and that his shoe shining job doesn’t pay that well. He mentioned how he wants to give Tweety a nice place to sleep for change, where he doesn’t have to cuddle up to him for warmth because their sheets are too small. And that was all it took for Klopmann to offer that Willie come work as a newsboy and stay in the boarding house, and Willie also managed to get him to agree that Tweety could come too and start working (ā€œthe younger ones sell the most papes, right?ā€) and they’ve been in the boarding house ever since.
Hobbies/interests: Reading, stargazing (sometimes he just likes climbing up to the roof at night and staring up at the sky..), greek mythology (he grew up reading the books in his dad’s office, and his dad would tell slightly simplified versions of the stories to him as bedtime stories), space (mainly constellations)
Hair: Blonde
Eyes: Brown
Faceclaim: young! Callen McAuliffe
Tumblr media
ā€œTweety, don’t you even think about it-! GET DOWN FROM THERE-ā€
Dynamics
Jack: They get along well, and Willie secretly looks up to him a lot. He is, after all, the closest thing Willie has to a big brother other than Ace.
David: They’re very similar in personality, so they get along well. They bond over being both interested in greek mythology and history (you can pry history and Greek mythology nerd David from my cold dead hands idc)
Racetrack: They get along well, but Racetrack likes to mess with him due to him sometimes being so uptight, but its all in good fun. Its playful back and forth.
Les: Willie is glad Tweety has someone who’s as talkative as he is. Les is a good kid, and him and Tweety have fun with each other.
Spot: These two are.. Interesting. They really enjoy each other’s company, and they have a rooftop that they like to meet up on. On that rooftop, they talk for hours, joke around (Willie finds himself very relaxed around Spot), and stare up at the stars. They’ve told each other things that Spot has never told anyone and that Willie hasn’t even told David or even Tweety. But Willie knows it won’t last. He knows its only a matter of time before they ā€œgrow upā€ and Willie finds a wife to settle down with… But he doesn’t ever want that to happen.. Not if it means losing these moments with Spot.. Oh, and Spot calls him ā€˜Wally’ (which is a proper nickname for him, because Willie is more of a nickname for the name William- Race came up with it idk-) but none of the other newsies do. They can tell it’s something special.

Roy ā€˜Tweety’ Delaney
ā€œOh, Tweety is a hoot! That chatterbox is always spoutin’ off with somethin’ random that just makes all of us laugh, and it gets his papes sold too. People either buy one to make him go away, or they get charmed by it and buy more than one! He was the youngest, but then Les came along, and now the two of them is like glue! He’s also got this habit. It’s whistling. He says his old man taught him how to, and I guess he hasn’t stopped since. So, thats why we’ve started callin’ him Tweety, and he doesn’t mind. Him and his brother Willie may be orphans, but they got us newsies now for family.ā€ - Jack Kelly, 1899
The unofficial little brother of the newsies and best friend of Les Jacobs
Age: 10
Gender: Male (he/him)
Sexuality: Does it matter?
MBTI: ENFP
Birthday: June 14th
Family: Charles Delaney (father; deceased), Anna Delaney (mother; deceased), Wallace ā€˜Willie’ Delaney (older brother)
Backstory: Tweety and Willie were actually born to a well-off family with quite a lot of money. Tweety loved his mother humming him to sleep as he hugged his teddy bear Simon, and hearing his dad whistle as he worked in his office and Tweety played in the floor with his toys. They were a happy family. Unfortunately, typhoid fever took their parents from them, and Willie and Tweety were put into a boys’ home. A year later, Willie got a job as a newsie, and he managed to convince Kloppman to let Tweety stay at the boarding house with the other newsies, and when Tweety was old enough he also became a newsie. Another year later, Les and David joined, and Tweety found a new best friend in the former.
Hobbies/interests: Talking, reading, hearing stories from Willie, playing with Les, playing cards with Ace, birds, bird calls (he likes to mimic them)
Hair: Blonde
Eyes: Hazel
Faceclaim: young! Mark Lester
Tumblr media
ā€œLes, I’ve got an idea… But we can’t tell David or Willie! I’d rather not get in trouble..ā€
Dynamics
Jack: Jack will sometimes give Tweety piggy back rides if Willie has his hands full. Sometimes they’ll whistle to each other randomly, like birds talking to each other or something. They also like competing to see who can do the most bird calls just by whistling.
David: David likes listening to Tweety talk about birds, and he’s impressed he knows so many species. However, he’s kind of uneasy about his friendship with Les. He thinks Tweety is a good kid, don’t get hum wrong, but Tweety has a tendency to get into trouble, even if he doesn’t mean to.
Racetrack: Racetrack came up with his nickname, and he also likes calling him ā€œshortstackā€ just to mess with him.
Les: Best friends. Tweety was ecstatic to have another kid in the lodging house to play with, and now the two of them are hardly ever seen apart.
Spot: Spot is surprisingly nice to Tweety, and tells him ā€œhe’s alright, kid. Quite alright.ā€

Robin Kelly
ā€œRob is cool! He’s one of the youngest guys on the team, but he’s a pretty valuable player. Best shooting guard East High has ever seen, according to coach Bolton. Even if he’s one of the shortest guys on the team. He’s also pretty fun! Always kind of jumping around, smiling and just never losing any energy, even just being around him kind of makes you feel a little pumped up too. I’m glad Connor has a friend like him.ā€ - Troy Bolton, 2004
Age: 15 (during the first movie) | 17 (end of the third movie)
Gender: Male (he/him)
Sexuality: Bisexual
MBTI: ENFP
Birthday: June 21st
Family: Unnamed parents, Mason Kelly (older brother)
Backstory: Robin grew up worshipping the ground his big brother, Mason, walked on. Mason Kelly was a legend at East High, and was the point-guard and playmaker before Troy. He was even team captain. Now he plays college basketball at the University of Albuquerque. Robin wears his last name like a badge of honor, but.. At the same time, a part of Robin sometimes worries that his last name is all that people find interesting about him.. Is all that they want to stick around for.. But, nonetheless, Robin is a naturally outgoing and energetic boy, always having a smile on his face and hopping from foot to foot, like he can’t still or all the energy inside of him will make him explode. Robin may be the shortest player on the team, but he’s still one of the best shooting guards that has ever graced the court at East High. On a good day he sometimes has even Troy and Chad putting in the work during practice. Safe to say, Once Troy and Chad graduate, its pretty obvious to the others who the team captain will be.
Hobbies/interests: Basketball, baseball (he’s on the baseball team too), hockey (he plays when its cold enough, which is rare, so he mainly just watches matches on tv), sports in general, comic books, hip hop music, doing impressions, video games (he has a ps2)
Hair: Blonde
Eyes: Green
Other appearance details: He has freckles across his nose and cheeks and he also has dimples
Faceclaim: Jack Wright
Tumblr media
ā€œCon, you HAVE to be cheating. No one’s beaten my high score since Carter, and thats been a WHILE.ā€
Dynamics
Troy: They get along well. Robin looks up to Troy as much as he does Mason, and thats saying something. He’s always over at the Bolton house because he’s friends with Connor.
Chad: They also get along well. Pretty much the same with Troy, and Robin’s always the loudest when Chad shouts ā€œWHAT TEAM?!ā€
Zeke: Robin is actually very supportive of Zeke’s baking, and is always wanting to taste test his stuff. (ā€œI made cupcakes!ā€ ā€œOH, OH, I WANT SOME!ā€ Robin just runs over and shoves one in his mouth)
Ryan: Him and Ryan are actually legitimately friends. Like the team will ask where Robin was yesterday and he’ll just casually say, ā€œOh, I was helping Ryan run lines.ā€
Connor: Best friends since diapers. They met in pre-school, kind of like Chad and Troy, and have been attached at the hip ever since, despite being so different in personality. But secretly, they’remore. See, Robin likes Connor. A lot. and Connoe likes Robin, a lot. In a way that they’re scared of anyone finding out about, lest Robin get kicked off the team because he got caught kissing the captain’s little brother.. So they’re content to just sneak around. Crawl through bedroom windows, whisper in the darkness of their bedrooms and kiss under covers while giggling about inside jokes and taking turns on Connor’s Gameboy and DS (and, if he remembers to bring it, Jack’s PSP)

Connor Bolton
"Oh, Connor? I like him. I mean, I sort of have to, because he's Troy's little brother, so I'm around him a lot, but I still like him. You'd never guess he's Troy's brother, though, if it weren't for the last name and them looking kinda similar. He's way more quiet than Troy is, that's for sure. I mean, sometimes I'm at their house, and I'll turn around and boom, he's just there! Scares the crap out of me.." - Chad Danforth, 2004
Age: 15 (during the first movie) | 17 (in the third)
Gender: Male (he/him)
Sexuality: Gay
MBTI: INTP
Birthday: March 16th
Family: Jack Bolton (father), Lucille Bolton (mother), Troy Bolton (older brother)
Backstory: Connor Bolton was always outshined by Troy, even if his brother didn't mean to do it. Its just that their father clearly had a favorite child of the two of them at a very early point and onward. It didn't help that Connor was a bit quieter than his brother, so naturally people gravitated towards Troy. While Troy was out shooting hoops on the basketball court in the yard, Connor liked just sitting on the couch or in his room with a book, or just drawing in the notebook his mom got him (Her and Connor are as close as Troy and coach Bolton). Despite their differences in personality, Troy and Connor were quite close growing up. Connor's quietness led to lots of kids thinking he was an easy target to pick on, but Troy always stepped in and defended him. They aren't as close now as they were then, but everyone can tell they still care a lot about each other. While Troy had a lot of pressure on him due to his dad being the basketball coach, Connor also had some weight on his shoulders. He was always a very academically gifted boy, so he actually got moved up a grade, the same grade as his brother. But don't be mistaken. Connor's quietness doesn't mean he's shy. He's more an introvert than he is shy. In fact, when he's comfortable with someone or a small group of people, he can be sarcastic and witty. He's even got a sense of humor that Chad and Troy can't get enough of.
Hobbies/interests: Reading, drawing, sci-fi movies/books, Stephen King novels, horror movies, The Smiths, The Cure, The Smashing Pumpkins
Hair: Brown
Eyes: Blue
Faceclaim: Asher Angel
Tumblr media
"He thinks you're the most gorgeous girl in the world, Gabriella! He told me himself!"
Dynamics
Troy: Brothers. You know that trope where the older brother picks on the younger brother? Yeah, its flipped with them. Connor will sometimes tease Troy and Troy is just like "Oh, shut up..." Troy actually sometimes has Connor help him on homework if he's struggling. When they were little, Troy was very protective of him and he still kind of is but it obviously isn't as intense.
Chad: Chad at first didn't like how Troy always wanted Connor to tag along with them, but then he vocalized this one day and Connor shot back and it made Chad go "..Oh-" so now the two of them have the oddest friendship. Chad will call him 'Bolt' while tousling his hair and Connor just rolls his eyes and keeps reading his book on the couch as Chad heads into the kitchen for a snack.
Sharpay: They have the most unserious beef. Like, they don't hate each other, but their personalities have definitely clashed several times. Its mainly just back and forth and then Sharpay goes "Hmph!" and Connor goes "Hmph." and they just- turn from each other and walk away- its almost become a part of their daily routine atp
Gabriella: Connor was the first of the Boltons to actually personally meet Gabriella. Troy had something planned for the two of them, and he went up to his room to grab something, and Gabriella noticed Connor reading on the couch. She just sort of sat down next to him, then noticed he was reading "The Hobbit" and offhandedly said she liked that book. He just looked up and said, "Yeah, all of Tolkien's stuff is pretty good." and by the time Troy had come back they'd already moved on from Tolkien and were talking about their favorite novels in the sci-fi genre. Safe to say, Connor highly approves of Gabriella.
Ryan: Their friendship is something no one could have foreseen. I mean it, they get along shockingly well. Ryan has even gotten Connor into some musicals.

Henry Clark
ā€œOh, that kid? He’s a good kid, from what I know. I’ve never talked to him, but he seems nice. He worships Eddie. Always following him around, and he gets all giddy when Eddie lets him sit with him and his gang at lunch. He looks at the guy like he’s the second coming of Christ. Its honestly kind of cute.ā€ - Knox Overstreet, 1959
ā€˜President’ of the ā€˜Greaser (Eddie Roswell) fan club’
Age: 15
Gender: Male (he/him)
Sexuality: Straight, but has a bit of a boy crush on Eddie
MBTI: ISFP
Birthday: July 17th
Family: Unnamed parents (only child)
Backstory: Henry was quiet lonely as a child, and it didn’t help he was also very quiet and introverted, so not a lot of kids wanted to play with him. His parents sent him off to Welton because thats where all the men in the Clark family went, and now Henry was as isolated as ever. Until his freshmen year. He was walking to class and saw a dirty blonde guy with pomade in his hair and wearing the Welton Academy uniform beating the hell out of some poor guy, and then backing off when the guy cried out in pain that he was sorry (for whatever he did). The guy tapped a cigarette out of a pack of Marlboros and put it between his lips then snapped his fingers, and a boy who looked to be his friend immediately lit the cigarette for him and he took a drag. This should have terrified Henry. But instead, all he could think about was how this guy looked like James Dean stepped down from Hollywood and put on the Welton uniform. But he also reminded Henry of Elvis, for some reason.. Safe to say, the next day Henry asked around and found out the guy’s name was Eddie Roswell, and he was a junior. Everyone seemed scared just saying his name. Henry found out that he wasn’t the only freshman fascinated by Eddie Roswell, and he found some of the middle schoolers that also shared this fascination with the blonde delinquent and his gang of greasers. So thats how the club was formed.
Hobbies/interests: Elvis Presley, the greaser lifestyle and culture, rock n roll music, reading, drawing, listening to Eddie’s stories about New York, leather jackets, James Dean movies
Hair: Light brown (so light it almost looks blonde in certain lighting)
Eyes: Green
Faceclaim: young! Leif Garrett
Tumblr media
ā€œWhy do I follow Eddie around? …Have you SEEN the guy? He’s one of the coolest guys here at hell-ton, and he’s tough as nails. I’d give anything to be like that..ā€
Dynamics
Henry doesn't really interact with the Poets all that much, but he does make contact with the Greasers.

Billy Norman
"Billy seems to always be smiling. I don't know how his face doesn't hurt. He's always trying to convince you the glass is half full, not half empty, that you should look on the bright side of things, and he could start a conversation with a complete stranger in the street. So of course, he's best buddies with Jesse. And he's always dragging Clay with him every where he goes. You'd think a guy like Clay would hate a guy like Billy, and he acts like it.. But he isn't fooling me. I might be a bit stupid, but I'm not blind. I see the way those two look at each other when they think they're alone. How Clay looks at Billy like he hung the moon in the sky, and how Billy looks at Clay like he's the only guy in the world. I won't say anything, but I'll write it down here. Those two found something with each other not a whole lot of people are lucky to have." - Arthur Morgan's journal, 1899
Affiliation: The Van Der Linde gang
Age: 26
Gender: Male (he/him)
Sexuality: Bisexual (slight male preference)
MBTI: ENFP
Birthday: June 20th
Family: Unnamed parents
Backstory: Billy was born in the New Mexico territory, in what would have been the city of Santa Fe. He actually grew up playing with some Mexican kids that also lived in the territory, and he even picked up Spanish and as an adult is decently fluent in it. His father was killed in a train accident when he was eight years old, so for a while it was just him and his mother. Then typhoid fever took his mom when he was about thirteen. After that, he was ran away from the orphanage he’d been placed in at fifteen years old, and was found by Arthur Morgan and Hosea Matthews. Dutch saw how good of a gunman Billy was (his father was a pretty good marksman and taught Billy everything he knew before he died) so he let him into the gang. And thats where he’s been ever since. As I’ve mentioned, he mainly works as a gunman, but he sometimes helps the girls around camp.
Hobbies/interests: Talking to people (d1 yapper fr), horses, animals in general, hanging out with Jesse and Boone and Cassidy, being with Clay, playing the guitar
Hair: Sandy blonde
Eyes: Brown
Other appearance details: He has dimples, and the corners of his lips are actually naturally slightly upturned, so he really does always look like has a small smile on his face. He also has freckles across his cheeks and nose.
Faceclaim: Heath Ledger
Tumblr media
ā€œClay, what’re you doin’, sittin’ by your lonesome? C’mon, Sean’s back, join the party!ā€
Dynamics
Arthur: Arthur will be sitting at one of the tables in the morning and he knows its a matter of time before Jesse or Billy comes bounding up to him, yapping his ear off. They sometimes go out riding together, and Arthur likes that Billy is happy to lead the conversation and he thinks the kid is entertaining.
Charles: Billy likes talking to Charles too (bro just likes to talk), but its kind of overwhelming to Charles because he’s kind of socially inept. Billy notices this and tries to not talk as loud and move his hands around as much (he moves his hands a lot when he talks) when he’s talking to Charles.
Javier: They play card games together a lot. If others are playing with them, they team up against everyone and only talk to each other in Spanish (it makes everyone involved EXTREMELY nervous). Javier actually gifted Billy a poncho he stole and now Billy wears it when its cold out. These two are basically lowkey besties.
Jesse: Do I even need to explain why these two are besties? They yap about horses together and sometimes go riding, and they’re a trio with Sean (but its also plus Boone and Cassidy so-)
Cassidy: Billy yaps to Cassidy and Cassidy is more than happy to yap back. They get along great
Clay: These two have something special. Billy knows it, and Clay knows it. But Clay refuses to admit it. So Billy won’t say anything out loud. But if the world was more accepting of guys like them, Billy would happily shout from the rooftops exactly how he feels about Clay. The moments they have in Billy’s tent show him a side of Clay that make him feel so special, because this means Clay trusts him.

Clay Sawyer
TW: internalized homophobia, implied religious trauma, and attempted rape are mentioned in the backstory portion. Please skip that if that upsets you.
"Clay is a man of few words. He’s one of those fellows who you can’t exactly tell whats on his mind, and he doesn’t care to tell you. He’s the type of quiet where you turn around and he’s standing there and your soul jumps outta your skin and you just wonder how long he’s been standing there. I think he’s alright, I just wish he’d stop sneaking up on me..ā€ - Arthur Morgan’s journal, 1899
Affililiation: Van Der Linde gang
Age: 26
Gender: Male (he/him)
Sexuality: Gay (🚪)
MBTI: ISTP
Birthday: December 26th
Family: Unnamed parents
Backstory: Clay, born Peter Trent, grew up in the territory of Wyoming (at least, it was a territory when he was born, in 1873), and his parents were very religious people. He was brought up in a strict Catholic household, and was told from a very early age that homosexuality was a sin. Being terrified of damnation, young Peter hated the feelings he'd get around certain boys he played with, and heavily repressed the way he felt, which would lead to him being the quiet and stoic young man he came to be. He met a boy named James Richards, who he became close friends with surprisingly quickly, considering his own personality. He found James'.. clinginess a bit odd, but he never said anything about it. One night, when he was 16, him and James were hanging out in Peter's house. Peter was in the kitchen putting something away and when he turned around, James was right behind him. Before Peter could ask him what he was doing, James pushed Peter into the counter and pinned him down, then attempted to rape him. Peter, in a panic, managed to free one of his hands and grabbed a nearby knife that hadn't been put away by his mother earlier, and stabbed James with it, killing him. Peter was horrified, not by the fact he'd nearly been raped, but the fact that James, one of his best friends (his only friend.. and lets just say James made sure it was that way), was a homosexual. Peter ran away that night, and ever since has been going by the name Clay Sawyer. He joined the Van Der Linde gang two years later and now is a scout and gunman for them, sometimes a debt collector (if Arthur is busy) too. Lately, he's been getting very close to another member of the gang by the name of Billy Norman.. And Clay hates it.
Hobbies/interests: Reading (he was given as high of an education as his parents could manage, but only so he'd be able to read the Bible), sketching in his journal, watching birds (it calms him), listening to Billy talk (he's never admitting it), also listening to Jesse and Boone talk (he's never admitting that either), talking with Cassidy (Cassidy is the most tolerable out of the trio, in his opinion)
Hair: Dark brown
Eyes: Blue
Faceclaim: young! Jake Gyllenhaal
Tumblr media
"Billy, I don't know what you're tryin' to say, but you better stop. The world don't like guys like you (and me..)..."
Dynamics
Arthur: They get along well. Neither of them are major talkers, but they still enjoy the other's company. They will sometimes silently show the other a drawing in their journal and the other will nod and say, "Looks good." You'd think its awkward, but it never is with these two.
Charles: Charles is secretly kind of intimidated by Clay- Clay also has chronic rbf, so that isn't helping at all- Clay also sometimes goes scouting with Charles and the two of them are just completely silent as Clay focuses on the task at hand and Charles is wondering if this guy wants to murder him LMFAO (Charles begs Boone to come along with them so he isn't alone with Clay) But in reality, Clay actually likes Charles.
Jesse: OH BOY OH BOY. Jesse loves messing with him. He'll constantly be ribbing the guy, trying to get him to talk. Clay claims he finds Jesse very annoying, but in actuality, he doesn't mind the kid's constant chatter. In fact, some of the things that come out of his mouth are genuinely funny. He'll never tell him that though. The kid's ego doesn't need anymore inflating.
Cassidy: Clay actually really likes him. He's interesting to talk to. They get along well, obviously.
Billy: (HEHHEEHHE OC IN THE WORKSSS) Billy is so infuriating to Clay. He's loud, always smiling for no reason, always trying to find the bright side even if there seemingly isn't one. He's also extremely handsome. He's always making an effort to include Clay, even if Clay would rather sit it out. He looks at Clay like he's the only person in the room when Clay decides to offer his voice in a conversation (that Billy likely dragged him into in the first place), paying attention to every word and laughing loudly when Clay attempts a joke (even if it wasn't that funny..) just to make Clay feel good about himself. Clay hates him. He hates him... Even if he couldn't imagine himself leading a life that Billy wasn't apart of.. He hates him..

Tom ā€˜Ace’ Matthews
ā€œAce is the best newsboy in New York other than Jack! He’s got that charmin’ smile that always gets all his papes sold, and he’s got a face you’d expect to see in one of them flickers at the movie house! Girls always wanna get a pape from him, so they hands can touch and he gives her a little wink if he’s in a good mood. One thing I don’t like about him though? He always kicks my ass at cards.. Don’t even matter the game! Not a single one of us in the lodge house can beat him! He's even beat Mr. Kloppman! He won’t ever tell us how he does it.. He once let Crutchie win, though, but that was just ā€˜cause it was his birthday. He let Les win once too, even apparently told Les his secrets, but Les won’t tell us!ā€ - Racetrack Higgins, 1899
The best newsie in the biz other than Jack Kelly (and also the unofficial big brother to all the boys in the lodging house)
Age: 17 (going on 18)
Gender: Male (he/him)
Sexuality: Bisexual (slight female preference)
MBTI: ENTP
Birthday: June 19th
Family: Dick Matthews (father), unnamed mother, the Newsies
Backstory: Ace grew up on the streets, and was the son of a conman. Ace knew from an early age how to get people to buy what you were saying. By the age of nine, he was acting like a sickly and starving English orphan one minute then flashing a boyish and charming smile to convince some poor balding soul that the oil in a bottle his dad was selling would fix their hair right up. He also knew how to rig any game in the book. Loaded dice, marked cards, you name it, his old man taught it to him before he was even ten. Then his dad slipped up and the police managed to catch him after years of looking and carted him off to the state penitentiary. Ace kept running scams, because it was the only life he was ever taught, and it got him into the Refuge, where he met Jack Kelly (or Francis Sullivan as he was known at the time. Ace helped him come up with the name Jack Kelly, as he had helped his father come up with names for new scams all the time), who he also escaped with on the back of Teddy Roosevelt's carriage. And the two of them have been in the Midtown Boys' Lodging House selling newspapers ever since.
Hobbies/interests: Card tricks (the younger newsies are convinced he's a magician), reading (his dad taught him, because 'you don't see illiterate scammers, now do ya, Tommy?'), going to see Medda's shows (Medda is lowkey the closest thing he has to a mother figure), flirting with girls, playing cards, doing impressions and accents (his dad made sure he was good)
Hair: Dirty blonde
Eyes: Blue
Faceclaim: young! Ethan Hawke
Tumblr media
"Tsk tsk tsk, Racie, when ya gonna learn that you don't bet that high in Blackjack? 'Specially when you play against me. Oh well, more cigars for me!"
Dynamics
Jack: The two of them are two peas in a pod. They're the oldest of the newsies so that's to be expected. They looked out for each other in the Refuge and have continued to look out for each other ever since.
Davey: Ace was right there with Jack when he was defending Davey from Weasel ("Yeah, weasie, take it easy on the new kid, will ya? He's just pointin' out ya miscounted. Cool it off!") When the newsies include Davey in card games, Ace will try and offer to help Davey cheat when he's in the trenches, but of course Davey always refuses.
Les: Les thinks Ace is the coolest guy in all of New York. Ace actually taught Les all of his card tricks, and also his secrets to playing cards like he was born with the deck in his hand. But he told Les to never use those tricks until he absolutely needed to, because if Davey ever learned about it, he'd have a heart attack. He calls Les 'pippy' to get away with calling him 'pipsqueak' (its all lighthearted)
Racetrack: They get along well. Ace will sometimes steal Race's cigars, and hold them over his head as Race tries to jump up and grab them ("Give 'em back, Ace-!" "Only if ya say please!~") People have actually mistaken them for actually being brothers (and the same thing happens to Ace with Jack). Race also gets very annoyed when Ace beats him at poker (again) ("What the hellaya doin', Ace?! How do ya keep beatin' me?!" "*Ace pulls the cigars to his chest like poker chips* Maybe you just suck at poker, Racie~")
Spot: Ace and Spot get along shockingly well. Of course, Spot blows up during card games out of frustration, but Ace only smirks at him. Ace calls him 'Spottie' and everyone is shocked he lived the first time he called Spot that. He even ruffles Spot's hair sometimes when they hang out, and the other newsies are just staring in horror like "HOW IS HE NOT DEAD AFTER THAT-"
Crutchie: Ace claims to not have a favorite 'little brother' (all of the newsies that are younger than him and Jack) but he does. And its Crutchie (later he has two, and the other is Les). And dear GOD, is it obvious. Crutchie is the only one of the newsies to ever beat Ace, and its because Ace clearly let him win, but the newsies let it slide because of how excited Crutchie clearly was. If any of the newsies decide to start picking on Crutchie, they just have to see Ace glaring at them and they immediately quiet down.

Scott 'Scottie' Conroy
ā€œScottie’s a great guy. I feel like he and I get each other in a way. He’s as free as the wind, or at least as free as he can be, at a place like hell-ton. Even if he can’t physically go anywhere he pleases, his brain will gladly do that for him. I swear, he daydreams more than anyone I know.ā€ - Charlie Dalton, 1959
Dead Poet
Age: 17
Gender: Male (he/him)
Sexuality: Pansexual
MBTI: ENFP
Birthday: November 30th
Family: Unnamed bio parents, Grant Conroy (older brother), Mr and Mrs. Williams (adopted parents)
Backstory: Ever since he was a child, Scottie had longed for more than what he was given. He wanted to see the world and travel all over. He was a curious and adventurous little boy, and this led to him getting in his fair share of trouble. Despite this, his parents fueled his and his brother’s curiosity, as they were adventurers themselves, traveling whenever they had the money to. Scottie and his brother’s Grant grew up in a working class neighborhood in Queens, New York. He was also friends with Eddie Roswell, and the Conroy house became a safe space for Eddie when his mom wasn’t home from work yet. Unfortunately, Grant and Scottie lost their parents in a car accident when Scottie was only 7 years old (and Grant was 10), and they would get adopted by the Williams. The Williams were much more strict than the Conroys, and immediately sent Grant off to Welton. His parents didn’t appreciate that Scottie was harder to control than his brother. So they did what they did with Grant: Sent Scottie off to Welton in hopes it would tame his adventurous nature. But it didn’t. Scottie reunited with Eddie at Welton and made friends with Eddie’s greaser friends.
Hobbies/interests: Elvis Presley, reading, poetry (his favorite poet is Whitman), stargazing, soccer, playing guitar (his dad taught him), playing the saxophone (Charlie taught him), playing the drums (self-taught), staring out the window (especially when its raining), drawing
Hair: Dark brown
Eyes: Brown
Faceclaim: young! Christian Bale
Tumblr media
ā€œEddie, don’t ya ever wonder? Wonder about… I dunno… About life beyond all this? Like, where ya could go if this wasn’t the life ya had? Where ya could go, who you’d meet, what ya could do? I do… I do all the timeā€¦ā€
Dynamics
Eddie: Childhood friends. Grumpy x sunshine duo. When they were kids, they were inseparable, and Eddie was upset when Scottie and Grant moved away after their parents died (the Williams moved them to Vermont). But Eddie and Scottie reunited at Welton, so thats good. Scottie’s home practically became a second home to Eddie when they were kids.
Grant: Grant was outgoing and assertive as a child, and Scottie looked up to him for this. Grant would tell Scottie stories about places he read about in books, and this spurred Scottie’s adventurous spirit on. They were actually almost separated in the adoption process, but Grant’s intense resistance convinced the Williams to take both of the boys. Grant graduated from Welton around the same time as Jeffery Anderson, and the two of them were actually friends.
Todd: They get along well. Scottie tells Todd stories that Grant told to him about Jeffery, and things that Jeffery said about Todd to Grant. And Todd is always surprised, because apparently Grant Conroy saw a side of his brother that Todd never knew he had. Also, average ā€œlocal extrovert adopts introvertā€ type thing.
Jasper: Two energetic extroverts meet and Welton is doomed. These two are BESTIES. Scottie is empathetic to Jasper’s bipolar disorder and makes sure Jasper takes his mood stabilizers (that Eddie’s mom managed to legally get him a prescription for, as she has connections due to her having worked as a nurse) and these two are just goofballs
Atticus: Atticus was slightly offput by him at first, and woukd just stare at him as Scottie would talk about his dream to see the world, but after a while, he starts realizing that Scottie has a point with some of the stuff he’s saying.
Lonan: Lonan was a bit stand-offish at first, but that didn’t deter Scottie from going out of his way to hang out with him. After a while, everyone at Welton was surprised to see that Scottie and Lonan were attached at the hip now. To the point they have some.. allegations (šŸ³ļøā€šŸŒˆā‰ļø/silly)
For the other Poets, Scottie gets along well with all of them (he’s just a social butterfly), even Cameron (he makes sure he gets included <3)

Jolene Carlock
ā€œJo is.. very kind. She’s also very smart, and she doesn’t let people mistreat her or others. She says something when something isn’t right, and I respect her a lot for it. It takes guts to do that. I wish I had that kind of confidence..ā€ - Todd Anderson, 1959
Associate of the Dead Poets (she still sometimes sits in on meetings though)
Age: 17
Gender: Female (she/her)
Sexuality: Lesbian
MBTI: ENFJ
Birthday: January 28th
Family: Unnamed parents, Alice Carlock (younger sister), Michael Carlock (younger brother), George Carlock (younger brother)
Backstory: Jolene is the oldest of four, and her parents were always away on business, leaving her to take care of her brothers and sister most of the time. Michael is a bit rowdy and George isn’t even in the double digits yet and he’s already quite the neurotic, and Alice is left constantly seeking attention. No one knows how, but Jolene manages to keep the three of them in line. That was, until she got shipped off to hell-ton. She didn’t care at all for her male peers, romance wise. Hell, she never cared a whole lot for boys, actually.. Then she met Bobby Warren. Despite his best attempts to flirt with her, she saw right through him. And she pitied him. She confronted him about this, and after some resistance he gave up and broke down to her about how he hates the way he feels. So now they pretend to date, to have each others backs.
Hobbies/interests: Reading, poetry, writing, helping people, playing the violin, hanging out with Bobby (and Todd and Neil)
Hair: Brown
Eyes: Brown
Faceclaim: young! Winona Ryder
Tumblr media
ā€œListen, Bobby. You’re not straight. I’m not straight. Everyone thinks we like each other. Why not let them think that? Its better than if they knew the truth.ā€
Dynamics
Todd: She thinks he’s sweet and talks to him whenever she gets the chance. Mainly just checking in on him after he first enrolls. She starts checking in on him again after Neil dies
Neil: Her and Neil got along well. She was quite upset by his death and was there for Todd and the Warren twins through all of it
Teddy: They’re BESTIES, she picked up on his crush on Neil pretty quick. Teddy figured out her and Bobby weren’t actually dating fairly quickly
Bobby: Also besties. They’re mlm and wlw solidarity, and are each other’s beards.

Modern Eddie Roswell hcs
This man owns a vape and you’d think he can’t breathe without it when he loses it
^ bro is flipping over tables and couches trying to find that shit and then it turns out it was in his pocket😭
Eddie’s ADHD actually gets addressed and in elementary school he went to an occupational therapist
^ He’s also on medication
Eddie seemingly has a new hyperfixation every few months. Its usually music related (like bands and stuff)
Avid wearer of band tees
^ the type of mf to ask you to name three of your favorite songs by the artist on your shirt
He LOVES grunge (especially Nirvana and Pearl Jam) and alt rock. Just rock in general too. ALSO he listens to Deftones.
^ also nu metal (Slipknot and System Of A Down) and metal (Metallica and Black Sabbath) too
Eddie has high scores on Guitar Hero that virtually no one can beat. And if you think you can, thats cute. But no.
His favorite riff to play on the guitar is the opening riff on ā€œMy Own Summer (Shove It)ā€ by Deftones
He’d also like rap, but mainly Kendrick Lamar and Tyler, The Creator (and occasionally GloRilla but thats something he’ll never say out loud)
^ ….I fear he’d also be a Kanye fan- BUT ONLY OLD KANYE HE CAN’T STAND HIS NEWER MUSIC (and also…. y’know-) (bro says ā€œbut he made ā€˜Graduation’, thoughā€šŸ˜)
Atp Eddie likes artists that happen to be problematic and he just shrugs it off and separates art from the artist (he’s a Kanye fan, he kind of has to😭)
He gets SO competitive at Just Dance. Like he pushes mfs down if they’re winning😭 he just gets competitive at video games in general
Him, Lonan, Atticus, and Jasper play horror games together at 2 am and Eddie screams at the jumpscares then cusses out the monsteršŸ’€
When he’s playing a game and driving a car and swerves past an npc who goes ā€œwatch where you’re going, dude!ā€ he’ll back up and hit them with the car and go ā€œman if you don’t stfuā€šŸ˜
^ bro ABUSES npcs in games, dude, I’m not even kidding😭😭
He’d have a Monster and Red Bull addiction-

Boone Hayes
"Boone is... Lord. He is a character. First of all, Lenny's got him beat by a few months on being the youngest member of the gang. Boone acts like a child. But not in the way Jesse does. I mean he is sometimes just plain childish. He loves animals, and whenever we stop in town, he’s running off with Jesse to go pet stray dogs. He’s got a dog himself because of that, actually. A border collie named Bandit. Boone’s a good kid, he’s just a little wild sometimes. Thats probably why he’s buddies with Jesse and Cassidy.ā€ - Arthur Morgan’s journal, 1899
Affiliation: The Van Der Linde gang
Gender: Male (he/him)
Age: 21
Sexuality: Pansexual
MBTI: ESFP
Birthday: May 25th
Family: Daniel Hayes (father), and Caterina Hayes (mother)
Backstory: Boone was born to a father that served in the Mexican-American war and a mother that was an Italian immigrant. Despite being slightly traumatized by the war, Boone’s father was an adventurous and optimistic man, and he’s mainly where Boone’s personality came from. His mother was a kind and nurturing woman who taught him Italian (Boone hardly speaks it now, unless he’s hurt or frustrated), and Boone is a dead ringer for her in the face. Boone had a relatively normal life until he was 18, and he got in a fight with a robber that resulted in the robber losing his life, and Boone went on the run after that, and thats how he ran into Jesse and Cassidy, who managed to twist Hosea’s arm on convincing Dutch to take the boy in. Boone still writes to his parents, telling them he’s alright, but he conveniently leaves out the part where he’s now an outlaw. He mainly works as a scout in the gang, but he’s pretty good with a gun (not as good as Jesse though. There isn’t a lot of people in the gang that can say they’ve won in a shooting contest with Jesse..)
Hobbies/interests: Animals (especially dogs and horses), cooking (he likes helping Pearson at the chuckwagon + his mom taught him), playing guitar (his father taught him), hanging out with Jesse and Cassidy
Faceclaim: young! Ralph Macchio
Tumblr media
ā€œThis guy’s full of merda! Don’t believe a word he says!ā€
Dynamics
Arthur: Like Jesse, Boone sees Arthur as an older brother figure. He likes following him around and talking to him, and sometimes joins him on debt collections.
Hosea: Boone doesn’t see Hosea as a father figure, because his own father is alive and well, but Hosea still sees Boone as a son, and Boone respects him a lot.
Charles: They get along well, and they spend a lot of time together as they’re both scouts and usually head out together. Charles sees Boone as a little brother. Boone yaps (a lot) and Charles listens.
Lenny: Lenny audibly sighs when he sees these two coming over to him in the mornings it is too early for this- But they still get along well
Javier: They take turns with Javier’s guitar around the campfire and Javier teaches him Spanish while Boone teaches him Italian (so they can talk to each other in those languages and confuse everyone-)
