That orange record? It’s a 3D print of Stairway To Heaven and it works on my vintage Fisher-Price record player 😶 I printed it at work today from an Instructables tutorial and there’s a few glitches, but jeeez… it’s pretty rad 🤙🏼 #nostairwaydenied . . . . #3dprinting #3dprints #3dprinters #libraries #vintagefisherprice #vintagefisherpricetoys #records #recordplayers

Today: Hong Kong Secondary Students and HKPC Set Guinness World Record with Mega 3D-Printed Victoria Harbour Display
The Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC) and local secondary students set a new Guinness World Record on “The Largest Display of 3D-Printed Sculptures” in a single venue with a mega Victoria Harbour model to commemorate the 20th Anniversary of the HKSAR. Mrs Carrie Lam, Chief Executive of the HKSAR, today (16 July 2017) officiated the lighting ceremony of the 35m2 model which comprises 1,214 3D-printed sculptures. The record-setting feat also marked the finale of the “Hong Kong Secondary Schools 3D Printing Design Competition” under the theme of “Our Glamorous Victoria Harbour”. Aiming to promote creativity and the innovative use of 3D printing among the younger generation in Hong Kong, the event was organized by HKPC with funding support from the Innovation and Technology Fund of the HKSAR Government, and support of the Education Bureau, various education groups and industry associations. The Competition attracted 236 entries from 123 schools. Out of the 20 finalists, the winners of the Grand Award, the Gold, Silver and Bronze awards were also announced at the ceremony

My 3D printed White board caddies have been well received at the studio. And I’m not surprised those Neodymium magnets come with a usage warning! #3dprinting #makerbot #office #wolffolins #magnets
