Greetings and Farewells

RIP to Grumpy Cat and my Mom whom I started this crochet shop with. 

Hi! Welcome to Effie Shop. I originally created this shop back between 2009 and 2011 in an effort to help my mom stop smoking. And it worked for a time. Unfortunately it was 30 years too late and eventually cancer claimed her 2 years ago. But we had a wonderful time building this small online shop together in those few short years. And I’ve come back to carry on in her honor. She was really a driving force behind us here at Effie, teaching me crochet while I helped inspire ideas and pop culture and fan art ideas, along with my son, Sage and his and my geeky interests. Mom could turn anything into crochet. And I hope to carry on in her spirit. I am slowly building back our inventory, everything is made to order, nothing is kept in stock. Everything is made by hand by me just for your, so please allow me time to make it and ship it with love.
