Penelope had been inspecting some new items before setting them out on the counter for this week’s sale when she noticed someone reaching for a jar of peppermints, precariously balancing them. Her heart clenched in her chest, noticing as it wobbled, then quickly rushed to help, hoping to avoid another shattered glass jar on her watch this week.

“Oh! Let me help you with that!” she said, quickly rushing over and helping them balance the enormous jar and breathing a sigh of relief.

the craving for peppermint was random, but convincing enough, so he decided to pay the general store a visit. the wobbling of the jar went entirely unnoticed ( maybe if he had been paying more attention— he’s terrible for getting distracted, lately ), only dawning on the blonde when penelope rushed over with an exclaim. “crap,” he said under his breath, shaky hands falling away from the jar before folding into closed fists and dropping to his sides. “sorry... i mean, thank you. i would’ve felt really awful if i broke it, i should be more careful. um. thank you, penelope. again.”

born and raised in stardew valley, a lot of freddie’s life was spent outdoors. having quite a green thumb from a young age, he was always in between his parents’ and grandparents’, helping out with their gardens.

known for being very friendly to the villagers in town; a very laid back and kindly attitude that allows him to get along well with most of his peers.

left town when he was eighteen, on a whim to see more and explore. his family wasn’t entirely in approval, but allowed him to do so because it was what he wanted.

along the way, he got caught up in a mess involving blackmail, in which threatened his life. after a prolonged time of tussles and locked horns, he ran from it, not looking back once.

returned to the valley when he was twenty, having been back for around a year. settled back into the comfort of what would always be home, and taking up a job with stardew floral.

his personality underwent obvious changes from then to now, coming from what he experienced while he was gone. previously outgoing and carefree, freddie is now more quiet and reticent, yet still works towards making a positive difference in the valley.

WANTED CONNECTIONS:
