There was a big unknown spread throughout the entire world. There was a virus, and they called it ‘The Flare’. It was a desperate time for everyone, and people are taking advantage, by using the fear of people regarding this virus to gain more income and profits. SL corp had been working hard to find the cure but, all their effort is a waste. They did not find the cure, let alone an answer, to tell everyone what is ‘The Flare’. They never knew, because they never had any ‘clean’ source for the cure. They need to have immune people’s DNA in order to finish the cure. But ... how on earth will they find those kinds of people, when the world is in total chaos?

This is where all 9 of you come in. SL called you in because they wanted to see whether you are immune or not. It was a quick check and all,

Effugium (Stylized as Effu9ium) is a fictional South Korean boygroup formed under SL entertainment. This 9 membered group made their debut on 8th of June 2018, with all of the members releasing a song every 15 days in each month with more members joining every time, starting from January of 2018.

The word Effugium came from the Latin which means escape. The reason that SL entertainment chose this is because that the group wanted to escape the kpop stereotype.
