The Cara na Mara ‘Friend of the Sea’ (Bad Eddie) The boat ran aground due to bad weather in the 1970’s, although there is a rumour that Eddie, the skipper, dilberately ran the boat aground because he was going through a rough divorce and his wife wanted half the boat!
