Are you aware of Kitare’s Roseverse AU, it basically works off the same idea as yours but has been around longer, secret inspiration perhaps?

WHAT! I actually never heard of this before! But I just looked into it and they do appear to be similar haha. Unfortunately it's not a secret inspiration, if it was I would have mentioned it.

Actually, what inspired me was the general idea of Amy having her own game. Sort of like how Princess Peach got one, ('Super Princess Peach' on the DS. NOT 'Showtime!'). And another thing, Shadow and Metal Sonic are one of my favorite characters, and seeing how closely they resemble sonic I thought about how they would look like if their designs were based on a different character! And the ideas sort of merged.

I don't expect myself to ever have a completely original idea, but the least I can do is share my vision and art!
