Where: Luna Junction (2800 Dundas St. W, Toronto) When: Saturday, March 25, 2023 What: Avocado benny + side of bacon (Two Poached Organic Eggs on English Muffin with Avocado, Smoked Gouda, Red Onion, Chipotle Hollandaise, Greens and Home fries) How Much: $18 + $5 side of bacon Comments: This was one maybe one of the most tastiest Eggs Bennys I’ve ever had in a long time. The combination in the Avocado one (the regular peameal bacon one had different items) was enticing but I wanted some meat so added a side of strip bacon. Absolutely delicious. The slight kick in the chipotle hollandaise and the home fries were a perfect touch. 100% would get this again, and will come back to try all the other items on the menu which also looked delicious - including that pear ginger juice which I didn’t get this time around. . . . . . . . . . #eggsbenedict #eggsbenny #brunch #food #foodstagram #eggsbenedicttour #LunaJunction #Toronto #thejunctiontoronto (at Luna junction) https://www.instagram.com/p/CqOVeo_O828/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Where: AGO Bistro (317 Dundas St. W, Toronto) When: Saturday, January 28, 2023 What: Eggs benny (Two free-run poached eggs, peameal bacon, arugula, hollandaise, English muffin, fries) How Much: $33 - as part of a 2-course + coffee/tea Prix Fixe menu Comments: While I was hungry, I thought my parfait starter plus the eggs benny ended up being a bit too much food for me. Everything tasted really good, however I had a few parts of the peameal bacon that were maybe too gristly or something. I enjoyed the arugula and the garnish on top of the eggs bennys. The aioli and fries were also really good - though I couldn’t finish all of it at the end 😅 Pictured here with a Dreams of Cherry Beach cocktail. My favourite part though is always the atmosphere at the AGO Bistro. The staff are all so friendly and it’s a lovely dining experience. . . . . . . . . . #eggsbenedict #eggsbenny #brunch #food #foodstagram #eggsbenedicttour #AGObistro #AGOToronto #Toronto (at AGO - Art Gallery of Ontario) https://www.instagram.com/p/CoAXzSFOTgg/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Where: 1 Kitchen at 1 Hotel Toronto (550 Wellington St W, Toronto) When: Sunday, October 30, 2022 What: Classic Eggs Benedict (Two poached eggs, peameal bacon, yuzu hollandaise, English muffin, choice of home fries or harvest green salad) How Much: $24 Comments: While it is a “classic” eggs benny, the yuzu hollandaise sauce and the home fries were exceptional. The two eggs Benedicts weren’t large - but, for me, that was perfect as I was able to actually finish all of it! The home fries were a mix of potatoes and sweet potatoes, with skin still on. Super delicious. Everything here is yummy! Where: OEB Breakfast Co (125 East Liberty, Toronto) When: Friday, September 2, 2022 What: Korean Bulgogi Eggs Benny (Korean style shaved inside round, pepperonata, served on a butter croissant, with brown butter Hollandaise and duck fat friend herb potatoes.) How Much: $22 Comments: This ended up being an unplanned stop in for some afternoon brunch - managed to get in about an hour before it closed. I had to try the Korean Bulgogi eggs Benny, especially with the immediate reaction of our server when I asked for which eggs Benny she recommends. The potatoes were SO deliciously crispy and the flavour on the Bulgogi with the poached egg and croissant was good and filling (for me). The croissant ended up being a bit soggy because of the egg yolk and a bit of the Bulgogi sauce but still super tasty. . . . . . . . . . #eggsbenedict #eggsbenny #brunch #food #foodstagram #eggsbenedicttour #OEBBreakfast #Toronto (at OEB Breakfast Co.) https://www.instagram.com/p/CiBlyngOAzN/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Where: Foiegwa (3001 Rue Notre Dame Ouest, Montreal) When: Sunday, October 3, 2021 What: Oeufs Bénédictines Au Jambon Maison (House ham eggs benedict) with roasted potatoes. How Much: $15.95 Comments: This brunch spot was the place to be apparently! Long lineup outside - we showed up just after 10:15 and waited about 1.25 hrs for a table. Friendly staff and food came out quick once we were in though. The eggs Benny was tasty! Somewhat smaller portion (but for me, it was the perfect amount). That being said, the other dishes my friends got looked massive! Where: Alejandro (1481 Atateken, Montreal) When: Saturday, October 2, 2021 What: Benedicto (Poached eggs on toasted bread, avocado, pulled ham, chipotle sauce, sautéed mushrooms) with fresh fruit, roasted potatoes and brewed coffee How Much: $18 Comments: Alejandro’s is a Mexican brunch spot and everything was so incredibly delicious. The servings were large - it was a lot of food! I originally thought it was a choice of avocado or pulled ham but it was both! Great flavours and the roasted potatoes were super yummy. We were also given some small bites of cornbread and banana bread, and a smoothie. O.M.G. The banana bread is SO GOOD. Slight maple flavour to it. Seriously, everything was so tasty. . . . . . . . . . #eggsbenedict #eggsbenny #brunch #food #foodstagram #eggsbenedicttour #Alejandro #Montreal (at Alejandro) https://www.instagram.com/p/CUtl4AKNutT/?utm_medium=tumblr

Where: Our Spot (180 Baldwin Street, Toronto) When: Sunday, September 6, 2021 What: Corned Beef Benny (3 poached eggs with corned beef hash topped with shredded cheddar and hollandaise sauce) with a side of home fries and small salad How Much: $17.95 Comments: I was craving an eggs Benny today and went searching around for somewhere to order from on Ubereats. Discovered Our Spot and was not disappointed (besides the order of corned beef sandwich for my husband which came as just a container of corned beef 😅). The eggs Benny was delicious - and filling with 3 eggs! The home fries were SO good. Will know to order a separate order of that next time as well! . . . . . . . . . #eggsbenedict #eggsbenny #brunch #food #foodstagram #eggsbenedicttour #OurSpotCafe #Toronto #brunchTO (at Our Spot) https://www.instagram.com/p/CTc_080JKv4/?utm_medium=tumblr

Where: The Morning After (88 Fort York Blvd, Toronto) When: Friday, July 9, 2021 What: B2 Benny (2 poached eggs on an English muffin topped with bacon and cheddar cheese, with a side of home fries) How Much: $16 Comments: The first eggs Benny I’ve had at an actual restaurant since Oct 2019! Paired with a side of pear mimosa, this was a great little brunch to catch up with @lostinagreatbook. I love that the patio is fairly spacious and it’s not right up against the street so there’s proper distancing that I felt safe sitting out at. It is also covered with large umbrellas in case of rain (which it had poured an hour before us arriving) . . . . . . . . . #eggsbenedict #eggsbenny #brunch #food #foodstagram #eggsbenedicttour #TheMorningAfter #Toronto #CityPlace #FortYork #brunchTO (at The Morning After) https://www.instagram.com/p/CRMLCLQDOPk/?utm_medium=tumblr

Where: Starving Artist (810 College Street, Toronto) When: Saturday, April 24, 2021 What: B. Benny (2 potato waffles topped with poached eggs, caramelized bacon, and hollandaise sauce, garnished with chives. Served with a side of mixed greens and your choice of fruit salad, potato salad or maple beans) How Much: $17 Comments: It’s been a while since I’ve posted here, not having gone out to a restaurant to eat in 14 months... but with my birthday weekend upon us, I wanted to order some birthday bennys for brunch! I love @starving4waffles’ potato waffles so this was a great suggestion from a friend to order in! Hollandaise sauce came packaged separately, and the vanilla almond latte was packed so securely. Delicious and easy to pre-order the night before on Ubereats for morning delivery! . . . . . . . . . #eggsbenedict #eggsbenny #brunch #food #foodstagram #eggsbenedicttour #StarvingArtistToronto #Toronto #StarvingArtist #BrunchDelivery (at Toronto, Ontario) https://www.instagram.com/p/CODoawCDfsz/?igshid=wjn5yohmsdhr

Where: Bodega Henriette King (234 King St E, Toronto) When: Sunday, October 6, 2019 What: Eggs Benny (Poached eggs, hollandaise sauce, cheddar, chive & stout biscuit) fingerlings & salad - with bacon How Much: $14 Comments: Love the decor in this restaurant! The eggs benny was also really delicious. You have a choice between peameal bacon, bacon, house-smoked salmon or arugula & tomato jam (prices vary with selection). Loved the cheddar chive biscuit instead of the usual English muffin, and the fingerling potatoes were good but large! I wish I had room to finish all of it! Where: Gartine (Taksteeg 7, Amsterdam) When: Wednesday, September 18, 2019 What: Eggs Benedict with soft boiled eggs (of our adopted chickens) baked ham and sauce béarnaise How Much: €9.50 Comments: This restaurant was such a hidden gem that our concierge told us about. Tucked away in an alley off a main street, this farm-to-table restaurant is only open for brunch and lunch. Most of the fruits and vegetables come from their own garden! The staff was SO friendly and the food was absolutely delicious. The egg yolk was so vibrant in colour and there was definitely difference in the overall taste of the dish vs other eggs bennys I’ve had. (Take note: bring cash! Where: The Morning After (88 Fort York Blvd, Toronto) When: Sunday, July 7, 2019 What: Too Much Smoke (2 Poached eggs on an English muffin topped with Montreal smoked meat, Swiss cheese and a mustard cream sauce) served with a potato puff How Much: $15.88 Comments: This was really tasty! Loved the mustard sauce on top.. not too overpowering. The potato puff side was also SUPER yummy. It was like a mashed potato inside (vs a home fries/hash brown potato). @sakuralovestea had the Woke Up to Benny (with smoked salmon) and thought it as excellent. I also couldn’t resist trying the unicorn latte (which came with coloured foam and cereal!) 🤗 Great, spacious patio space, tucked away just off the street on Fort York Blvd in the Cityplace neighbourhood. . . . . . . . . . #eggsbenedict #eggsbenny #brunch #food #foodstagram #eggsbenedicttour #TheMorningAfter #TheMorningAfterTO #tma #Toronto #FortYork #CityPlace (at The Morning After) https://www.instagram.com/p/B0JQ9cKHnId/?igshid=192zhbhljra1

Where: Scallywags (11 St. Clair West, Toronto) When: Saturday, July 6, 2019 What: Eggs Benedict (Poached eggs and grilled peameal on toasted English muffins, served with their own Hollandaise sauce, and home fries) How Much: $15 Comments: I wouldn’t normally have considered Scallywags to be known for their brunch necessarily, so I admittedly didn’t have high expectations on the eggs benny - I just wanted some brunch while I was in the area. It was good! I really liked the home fries too. Eggs were just a touch runny, not too much. Good consistency. . They’ve also got a large rooftop patio with a retractable roof, and it wasn’t overly busy so a good place to enjoy the nice weather. . . . . . . . #eggsbenedict #eggsbenny #brunch #food #foodstagram #eggsbenedicttour #Scallywags #Toronto #StClairWest #YongeStClair (at Scallywags) https://www.instagram.com/p/BzmXEqpHmWb/?igshid=1t0u50znnvxik

Where: House of Small Wonder (Johannisstr. 20, Berlin, Germany) When: Saturday, June 22, 2019 What: Benedict Sundae - Single (Homemade Biscuit Benedict with bacon is served diced in a glass with wasabi-hollandaise sauce & a soft-cooked organic egg on top) How Much: €5.5 Comments: While this super cute restaurant also has the Benny’s in a regular way, I couldn’t resist trying this unique take on it. A “Benedict sundae”?? Intrigued! This was beyond tasty! Perfect amount of food for me, and the biscuit was a bit toasted, all the sauce and egg mixed with the bacon and biscuit was absolutely delicious. And at €5.5, it was such a great price! Where: AGO Bistro (317 Dundas Street West, Toronto) When: Saturday, May 25, 2019 What: Duck Confit Eggs Benny (duck confit, wilted bitter greens, arugula pesto, hollandaise sauce, Blackbird Baking Co. croissant) with fries or salad How Much: $22 Comments: My friends and I often go to the AGO Bistro for dinner but this was the first time I’ve tried their brunch. While the eggs benny may be a bit pricier than what some may be used to, it was delicious. The duck confit and hollandaise and egg felt quite rich and filling for me. The croissant was a nice take! Probably didn’t need the fries, to be honest. It was a lot. Salad may have been a better choice to balance out the heaviness of the eggs benny. . @dimples_foodie had the Truffled Mushroom Eggs Benny and that looked good as well, though maybe not as rich and filling as the duck confit one. . . . . . . . #eggsbenedict #eggsbenny #brunch #food #foodstagram #eggsbenedicttour #AGOBistro #DundasWest #AGOtoronto #Toronto #brunchTO (at AGO Bistro) https://www.instagram.com/p/BzEs1_MHixW/?igshid=1gn3sxluvcxmn

Where: Starving Artist (810 College Street, Toronto) When: Saturday, May 18, 2019 What: Breakfast Benny (2 potato waffles topped with poached eggs & caramelized bacon & hollandaise sauce. Garnished with chives.) Served with mixed greens and choice of fruit salad, maple beans or potato salad How Much: $15 Comments: Friends who know I love eggs bennys have all raved about Starving Artist, so it was time I finally tried it. I didn’t realize that everything was served with/on waffles! I was worried that the Breakfast Benny would be too filling (and it WAS very filling) but the potato waffles were SO GOOD. I thought it would be like a hash brown type waffle, but no. It’s like a MASHED POTATO type waffle. So so so yummy. The server recommended the maple beans side, which was also super tasty. . 👈Swipe to see the other bennys our group ordered! . @papertraildiary’s Waffle Benny ($13 - swapped bacon for avocado) “I’m glad they let me substitute for avocado! Also the waffle enhanced the squishyness” . @melgodecki got the Sammy Benny ($17 - smoked salmon) “One of the most satisfying meals ever! The smoked salmon is worth the splurge, tho next time I'll definitely try the potato waffles 🤤” . . . . . . . #eggsbenedict #eggsbenny #brunch #food #foodstagram #eggsbenedicttour #CollegeStreet #Ossington #CollegeOssington #starving4waffles #StarvingArtist #waffles #Toronto #brunchTO (at Starving Artist - College St,) https://www.instagram.com/p/BxnV_YpHMFc/?igshid=9aua8dk5a4xn

Where: La Société (131 Bloor Street West, Toronto) When: Saturday, March 30, 2019 What: Bénédicte au Jambon Parisien (Glazed ham, hollandaise, pommes Lyonnaise) How Much: $17 Comments: This eggs benny was pretty delicious and filling. I did find the Hollandaise sauce very strong with lemon taste, in a way that I couldn’t untaste it. However overall it was still good. I really loved the potatoes - those tend to be hit or miss for me.. if they’re too starchy or bland but these were so tasty.
