Not to start shit on main but I’ve got beef with rayleb.

There are so many things you could do.

Ray and Trevor, single dads with smart, strong teenage daughters who used to be besties but now can’t stand each other. You can’t tell me ray and Trevor weren’t close before the fall out

Rose/Ray/Trevor, rayvorose, Borosay, the other ship name I can’t remember (sorry jon). Rose brings home grieving Bobby. They all become friends and eventually get together but then something happens and/or rose dies. It’s tragic, there’s nothing to be done.

You could even go with Trevor/Caleb. Caleb as the murderous trophy husband and Trevor is the rich, pretty, somehow unkillable husband. Caleb hates it, they grow on each other.

I am BACK on the Valjean-is-everyone’s-dad train! (to be fair I never actually left) I always headcanon les amis as a primarily queer-activism based group, since I’m queer so I know stuff about that (lol not really), but regardless, I think that if they hosted or just attended Pride events, Valjean would always be there. Like I think he’d be one of those dads with the “free hugs” sign screaming on the sidelines wearing a shirt that’s like, been edited so it says “I heart my lesbian queer daughter group of college students” and giving all the amis hugs whenever he sees them. Other people at Pride would probably be a little nervous because he’s JACKED but you know that just means better hugs, and when you watch this John Cena looking old dude get hug-attacked by teeny Jehan, it’s a lot harder to be scared of him.
