a couple of weeks ago during a fresher's fair thing on campus, I was stopped by some communists on a stall, and offered a newspaper. I had a bit of time to kill before work, and also I am basically a communist, so I said yes, to which they said 'two pounds please'. I was so taken aback by the fact that I physically could not afford to buy communist propaganda that I laughed in disbelief. One of them, slightly annoyed, started saying that they have to pay people to print them and I very hurriedly apologised and explained that I understood how hard it is and that everything is expensive, because I was worried I'd come across as a massive dick.

It wasn't until this morning that I realised how perfect this would be as a way for Enjolras and Grantaire to meet for the first time, and am now considering writing it
