Heal The Pain (Dragon Wamuu x Chubby Reader)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
When a human breaks his solitude. Wamuu will have to decide what price will be paid.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hi guys, I'm at it again. Wamuu is my personal favorite Pillar Man. So I wanted to do something special for the honorable man himself. I hope you enjoy.
---------------------------------------------------------
He had always been taught to have a distain for humans. They were petty, selfish, and down right ignorant. His mentors, Kars and Esidisi, were the most powerful of dragon kind. It was an honor to be taken under their wings, but there were somethings he didn't understand.
Humans being one of them.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“We have to do something about this.” You held back from adding anymore spiteful things to the statement.
The village leader looked down on you, haughtily. “What do the musings of a girl have to do with our survival?”
Balling your hands into fist, you steadied yourself. This was exactly why your village was in the situation it was now. “I am the daughter of the captain of the guard.” Seeing the comment ready to leave his mouth, you shoved a finger in his face. “His death, by your negligence, does not take away his title.”
He actually had the audacity to scoff. “He and all of the former guard are no more. How will you take care of what they couldn't.”
Squaring your shoulders, you tilted your chin up. “Make a deal with a dragon.”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
He could hear something approaching, something out of place. It’s steps were heavy, but steady. He moved to the entrance of his cave. Hoping to catch a glance of whatever it could be. It had been a long while since his last encounter with any being that could converse.
Though when you stepped into veiw, he couldn't help but stare. A human had stumbled upon his lair. You were unlike any description of a human he had heard of. Skin glistening in the midday sun, you were so soft and plump looking. A determined look was set on your alluring face.
Taking a moment to rest you pulled out a familiar looking tome. He was shocked to see you holding one of Master Kars’ hand written books. Without a second thought he approached you. “Where did you find that tome?”
It was your turn to be surprised. This mountain of a man had appeared from no where and was asking about your grandmother's book. This was definitely a bizarre situation, but maybe it could be in your advantage. “If I tell you, do you think that you could help me find a nearby cave?”
Nodding he stepped closer to you. “That sounds like a fair trade. I have lived in these woods for a long time, so I know the landscape well.”
A dazzling smile spread across your face. “Amazing, I can’t believe my luck.” You sit on a fallen tree not to far away and pat the space next to you.
He eyes the spot, but after one look at you, he settles down.
Then you regaled him with the take of how your grand mother helped a wounded man in the woods. You fondly recalled how head strong she could be and how the man took a liking to that. She sheltered and cared for the man. He stayed with her for a while, until the local town folk discovered what the man really was. A dragon named Kars. He left to keep her safe, but gifted her with a token from his hoard, a hand written tome. The very book you had and were using to try to find his disiple, Wamuu.
All of the information swirled around his mind in a storm of confusion. It had been years since he had seen Master Kars. When they had last talked, his master still had a negative opinion of humans. That seemed to have changed though. He even seemed to have been courting your grandmother. Giving a piece of your hoard to anyone is a promise to be life mates.
It was a staggering revelation. That the very being to teach him the flaws of humans, could fall for one.
You took in his befuddled expression. Perhaps he had never thought dragons to be real. “Sorry if that was a lot. Do you still want to lend me a hand or do you need time?”
Your concern for him was flattering, but it seemed fate brought you together. “There is no need. I am the being you seek.”
Eyes widening, you blinked up at him a few times. So his shock was from the story of his master. This would also explain why he looked so different from anyone you had ever met. Still you had to make sure. “If that’s so, could you answer one question for me.”
Nodding he said. “I will, to the best of my abilities.”
You sent him another dazzling smile. “What is the name of your other master?”
“That's simple enough. His name is Esidisi.”
Jumping up from the log, you turned to him fully. “Perfect. I’ve come to you with an urgent request. This may take longer to explain. Would you be more comfortable in your cave? I know leaving your hoard unsecure can be uncomfortable. “
Again he was taken aback. Your knowledge of Dragon culture intrigued him. Though if it came from the book or your grandmother was a mystery. The more puzzling thing came from his ease of mind abound you. It wasn’t until you mentioned his hoard, that he realized that he hadn’t given it a thought. But this was something to ponder for a later time.
Leading you to his cave, he prepared himself for what should be another intriguing tale.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
He was astonished at the torment your village had been out through. “So the greed of your incompetent leader has led to the slaughter of your warriors.”
With a grim frown you nodded. “That about sums it up. Which is were you come in.” You give his shoulder a reassuring pat. There was just something about this man. His demeanor was so curious to you. He was a mesmerising moutain.
“Yes, so you wish for me to defeat him in combat? From what you told me it would be easily done.”
The noise that came from you was melodic. A sudden burst of laughter, that you attempted to stiffle with your hand. “As entertaining as that would be. I have a more practical request. I’d like you to protect the village and help me train the willing people left. We are basically defenceless after that fool sent out guard on a suicide errand. To keep everyone safe, I’ve come to the only person I know of that could help. “ You held up the tome to emphasize your point.
Wammu knew that there was nothing he wanted to do more in this moment.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The trek back to the village was just as tedious, but a lot less loney. Wamuu may not have been as much of a conversationalist as some of the other villagers. Though he always has well thought out and interesting answers. It was a considerably pleasant experience.
The trouble started when the village came into sight. You were both met with the grimacing face of the village leader. His face was twisted into the most exaggerated frown you had ever witnessed.
“I see that you come back with a man rather than a beast. As expected from the daughter of a failure.” He let out a bark of a laugh.
Until you socked him in the nose that is. “The destroyer of what little hope this village has, has no right to talk ill of his destruction. You forced an entire guard on a suicide mission for your greed. What I do to salvage what is left of our home is my business. If I wish you to be a part of it, you’ll be invited. “ You took Wamuu's arm in your own and walked away.
He was stunned at your firery passion. You had much more than meets the eye and he was eager to see what was to come.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You gathered all that were willing and started training right away. You were glad to have Wamuu as a training partner, it was honestly a blessing. He was the most skilled warrior you had ever met. Every word that Kars had wrote about him was true. You just hoped it would be enough to help protect the village.
He was beyond impressed with your fighting ability. Where you really shined though was your strategic mind. He had never met someone he could spar with on an even playing feild. While he may have the strength advantage, you were always three steps ahead of him mentally.
Watching you train the recruits made him swell with pride. Though as you took down a new recruit, that thought they could challenge you. Caused him to feel something entirely different. His chest would bloom with a emotion unknown to himself.
On a particular odd occasion, a man that seemed closer to his own size came into town. He boasted that since the previous guard had fallen, he would be taking over. That the village leader had called for his help personally.
You calmly told him if he could beat you in hand to hand combat the position was his. This cause Wammu to speak out and defend you. You only placed a hand to his chest and told him to relax and enjoy the show.
It wasn't until that particular moment that he really got to see you in action. The way you centered yourself as the man barreled your way. The ease that you seemed to toss him over you. As you pinned him to the ground, your soft pliable skin shifted. Years of hard work and muscle showing themselves. The mid afternoon sun shown off of you in a beguiling light. He felt that he could be truly blinded by your figure.
The second the newcomer tapped, you released him. Then held out a hand to help him to his feet. Patting the man on his back, you offered for him to stay and train with your group. He looked downcast at the ground, but agreed.
Wamuu went to sleep many nights thinking of that fight.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The more time you spent with Wamuu, the better you understood the tome. You had read through it in your childhood, but meeting him opened yourself up to understanding it.
The way that Kars was tore between duty and love. Speaks to you now in a way that was unknown before. Your heart would clench when you noticed the time and care Wammu put into training your people. Your affection seemed to be growing for him by the day.
But the tome told a journey of star-crossed lovers. It made your breath shudder at the thought of following in their footsteps.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You could both tell that the time for rigorous training was coming to an end. Though neither of you wanted to admit that your paths may split soon. It was on such a day, while these thoughts weighed heavy, that the village leader interrupted.
“I am tired of your constant insolence and rabble-rousing.” He pointed an accusing finger your way. He was followed by the few people who still stood with him. It help that they were also the ones getting their pockets lined with ill gotten gains. “ I suggest you take your man Dragon and leave. Before I decide to take over more drastic action. “
You scoffed at the threat. “Why don’t you make me. In fact I challenge you to a duel. Losser is banished.” Squaring your shoulders, you met his eyes in a fierce glare.
He took a moment to stutter and look around the crowd. Then he quickly regained his composer. “Very well, but my champion shall fight in my place.”
His personal body guard stepped forward and you reeled back. It was William, your father’s best friend and close family friend. You had no ill will for the man, he was only doing what he had to to support his family. If you knew that he would play this dirty of a trick, you would have been better off killing him long ago.
Suddenly Wamuu stepped forward, he couldn't stand seeing you so distressed. “Then I will fight as her champion.” Keeping a mask of neutrality, he looked at the tyrant.
Crossing his arms, he sneered at the larger man. “Very well, let’s see what you can do Dragon man.”
With a solemn nod you motion everyone back from the pair of duelist. The two face each other in the middle of the training grounds.
The large man kneels down and a low rumble starts resonating from him. You stare in wonder as he slowly shifts into a giant golden dragon. Glimmering brilliantly in the sun light. Your breath leaves you in a gasp as you take in his true form. Horns curved in an elegant manner and thick muscle ripples under shining scales.
William bows his head at the beast then walks to your side. “I refuse to fight this grand being.”
The lord throws a tantrum. “Do you people not see this monster. He will eat you in one bite and yet you take his side.” He waved his arms around in panic.
Stepping forward you place a hand on one of Wamuu's claws. He unexpectedly holds his hand out to you and motions for you to step onto it. Taking the offer, he raises you up. “This situation has become ridiculous. Your greed has caused a severe loss for our people. Yet you wish to get rid of the only hope we have left. This tragedy has brought us together in an unexpected way.” You spend a long moment looking over the villagers. “I move that we do away with the hierarchy and govern ourselves. We have become strong relying on one another.”
What starts as quiet clapping soon morphs into uproarious cheers. A large grin takes over your face as you pat his hand. He understands and lowers you gently. Stepping over to the red faced lord you say. “I believe your services are no longer needed.” Your satisfaction only grew as he stopped away.
Turning back the the dragon, you watch as he shrinks back to his human form. “As for you, I don’t think anyone would mind the safety and council a mighty Dragon would bring.” Brushing a bit of hair away from your face, you gave him a soft smile. “If you would like to stay that is.”
He looked at you with a gentle expression. “It will take a while to move my hoard. Do you think you could help me?”
Eyes widening at the trust he was putting in you, a sly smile slipped onto your visage. “I happen to know of a manor that will be vacant soon.”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It had taken a while, but Wamuu had taken up residency in the manor, along with his hoard. You took extra care in not harming the pieces of his treasure. He had painstakingly organized the objects, at least the ones for display.
He cleared his throat as he entered the room you were in. It happened to be the weapons room, your favorite to admire. Heading over to one weapon that you’ve gazed at, for more time than you’d like to admit, he took it down. “This is a Macuahuitl, a wooden club with obsidian blades lining the edge. The obsidian is one of the only rocks that can be sharper than steel itself. I have always had a fondness for this particular weapon.” Holding towards you, he smiles. “Which is why I think it would be perfect for the Captain of the guard.”
Your expression shifted from intent admiration into bewildered amazement. The tome had revealed many things to you, but the most prominent was the meaning behind it. “Are you sure?”
Closing your hands around the handle, he nodded. “More sure than anything else I’ve ever done.”

Yandere Drider Risotto/Johnathan 🕷️🕸️
Darling was a child when she found a small blue/black spider, rather than kill it she brought it home with her to be her friend (She gave him his own terrain to live in, collected bugs to feed him and even talked to him everyday)
She even gives him the name Johnathan/Risotto
Darling has a fondness for Arachnids, which made her a target for bullying
She saw a shooting star and made a wish for her little spider friend to become ‘Big and Strong’ so no one could hurt him and they could be ‘Together Forever’ (Not realizing how much she’ll regret it in the future) but as friends
The next day she was shocked to find out her relatives threw him out in the stormy rain last night (She proceeds to cry for the loss of her friend)
As the years went by, strange things have been happening to the village, cattle have been taken or turned into puddles of gore, Hunters have gone missing, equipment broken and destroyed and predators in the forest also turned into puddles of flesh, bones and gore (Like Wolves, Foxes and once even a full grown Bear!)
If it’s Johnathan he’s a Goliath Birdeater (Venomous but not lethal)
If it’s Risotto he’s a Giant Huntsman Spider (Very Venomous)
However because they’re bigger their venom is highly lethal
Fun Fact: Neither species make webs to hunt, rather they stalk, hide, wait and then pounce their prey! (They use their weaving skills for their burrow)
I myself have a mild fear of spiders, yet I can’t help but be amazed and fascinated with their biology, anatomy and behavior (I feel like a cursed human 😭)
I kinda got the idea from Charlottes Web but with my own spin to it
Ooh another drider idea, I'll do Risotto now since we covered Jonathan before.
Darling was always a strange one. When she saw a huntsman spider on her way home she caught the creature in her bag before bringing it home and placed it in a large glass tank that she'd made a terrarium.
It'd take a while for the huntsman to warm up to her, but after realizing she was providing it food it would start to let her pick it up. So she's ecstatic when it warms up to her.
She names it Risotto, strange name but what do you expect for a kid who likes spiders and one late night night she sees a shooting star. And makes a wish while Risotto is on her shoulder. That he'll grow big and strong and that they'll be together forever.
A few nights later some extended relatives babysit darling and discover the huntsman after she goes to bed and chuck him out. When darling finds out she's mortified and immediately starts looking for days but doesn't find him. During this time darlings wish manifests and he does get bigger but he also develops some human characteristics.
Timeskip and darling is now a biologist and is on an expedition in the dense forest surrounding town she grew up in. There's been reports on strange animal deaths in the area and they've been sent to figure out what creature is doing this.
They get their lead but shortly one of the members goes missing. It's only a matter of time before the body is found and the team panics but it's far too late, they're getting picked off one by one that night til only darling remains.
Eventually she's attacked by the creature. A creature with the upper body of a human and the lower body of a spider. Of course she's afraid but touches one of his legs.
Risotto is initially confused until he gets a better look at his prey and realizes who she is.
"(Y/n)?" He asks.
"How do you know my name?" She asks back.
"It's me, Risotto" he tells her and she's confused. After all he was vastly different to the pet she'd had as a kid. She refuses to believe him as it's just not possible. It's only when he's able to recount a few thing that she does believe.
"But why are you like this right now?" She asks, he doesn't have an answer. She eventually asks if she can study him, which he was open to until she mentioned going back to a lab or something relating to leaving for a bit.
No he's not letting humans separate her and him again so he's quick to grab darling and take her back to his borrow. (Now she's the one being fed and tended to)

so who're the best combatants of the primarchs OUTSIDE of melee?
Uh. I mean. They all use guns about the same, so that's largely irrelevant. Guns are a prelude to slapping your shit in when it comes to primarchs generally. 40k is about Big Dude Fight CQC most of the time, and primarchs are Bigly Dudes.
Magnus is an uber psyker, he's the best at psychic combat. Sanguinius can natively fly, he's the best at aerial combat. Perturabo has a tank, and can interface with vehicles, he's the best at vehicular combat. Alpha Legion likes their specialist snipers, so Alpharius is probably the best sniper. You'd think, anyway.
