People who genuinely use she/her for gerard fuck me off so much. How can you seriously think that it's ok to headcannon a real person with pronouns they never wanted to use. He has stated that he uses He/him and They/them pronouns. He has stated that he struggled with gender identity, so figuring out your gender when dealing with that is hard and to misgender (yes that is what it is) somebody who LITERALLY stated that they have dealt with gender identity struggles is just cruel. Gerard wears dresses/skirts because he wants to and he feels comfortable in them. It's to say 'fuck off' to gender norms AND THEN REINFORCING gender norms with using she/her is genuinely the most brain dead thing ever... Like men can't wear dresses? You wear a skirt so you must be a woman? Insane I understand wanting to have your favourite celebrity being really queer and if you're trans also wanting a trans icon, but this is not the way. Also just in general pressuring the members of my chem to be any kind of queer is weird. They helped the queer community so much with all of their actions, their support and their 'stage gay' personas, so how about, we, as a queer community don't label them with something they're not. Most queer people know the feeling of somebody else labeling you as something you're not, and it feels horrible, so don't be a dick. please. I understand the place it comes from. It's usually meant well and from a place of love, but we should all be respectful about the people we love and adore. Be kind.
