Oh yes there would absolutely be tears. I hope hazel didn't salt it too much because with ow ace is crying into his food his tears will probably add some extra seasoning.

Villain Ace owns a fight club that also offers all manner of illicit beverages. Its serves a different type of clientele that what you'd find at the Lackadaisy that's for sure, much more ruff and tumble kind of guys. Its called the Barabris.

Ace has two bodyguards/henchmen who help him out. Regan and Irene. Ace and Regan have known each other the longest.

Regan Knight is quiet and contemplative, preferring to lay low and not draw to much attention to himself. He moves surprisingly quietly for a man his size and has gained the nickname phantom because of this. He is deeply loyal to a fault, even to an unhealthy degree when it comes to Ace. He enjoys reading and his favorite flower is wolfsbane.

I'll let Dakota talk about how Irene fits into the story herself.

Mead of poetry

I think this is the first purely rocky fanart ive posted lol. The title comes from a norse myth of the same name. its mead that gives whoever drinks it. Its also made from some guys blood so that cool.

Ramble about what inspired the art:

Ive mentioned the fossegrim a few times before but its a mythical creature i think fits rocky pretty well to. Long story short its a pretty dude who sits in waterfalls playing beautiful fiddle music. Though sometimes its depicted with a harp as well.

its also pretty similar to nøkken and seemingly the same though ive grown up with them being seprate myths. Its is said that that nøkken often drowns people must have one person a year. So fate picks a person and they are fated to drown.

I swear to god ive read somewhere that during the romantic era, many people wrote poems about the fossegrim emphasizing him being lonely and isolated but i cant find it now. so that another trait that makes rocky remind me of it.

Their sibling dynamics 🥺 Åse tryna be a better figure for his siblings is so sweet. She just want to be a good older sibling 🥺🥺

Despite growing up an only child Åse does end up having some siblings later in life. He ends up reconnecting with his family in the 1930s and tries to support his family through the depression.

Her and her sister Stella get along great, and Stella looks up to Åse a lot. But her brother Isaac isn't all that enthusiastic about her.

He tries to make extra money for them and also takes on a fair amount of responsibility taking care of her siblings and aging grandfather when she can as his mom has to stop being a housewife and start taking on a job at this time.

Stella really looks up to Ace and while she doesn't know the extent she eventually figures out Ace has some criminal background and she thinks it makes Ace cool. Stella is young and naive and thinks rules are stupid so she looks up to her sibling for being a vagabond who lives a very free life (at least from her perspective). Ace still does not have a proper education or non criminal job experience so she spends a lot of time couch surfing and doing odd jobs in the 30s.

Åse loves spending time with Stella and has no issue falling into the cooler older sibling role. Stella looking so much up to him really motivates Åse to get his act together and live an honest life that wont affect his family. I think he has a lot of anxiety about his criminal past coming back to haunt him.

While Isaac doesn't outright hate Ace but is deeply annoyed and a little angry that Ace has suddenly barged into his life. When Ace comes back he feels like she doesn't have the right to suddenly show up again like its all ok. Of course he does not have the whole picture. Stella admiring Åse a lot doesn't help either. Deep down he wishes Stella would admire and look up to him.

Ace really likes him and is sad that he seems so cold and curt towards her. She sees that despite how he acts towards her he's a very kind and sensitive boy and she is scared he'll get hurt by the world because of it. He also struggles in school especially academically and Åse really relates to it.
