Tips for Caregivers who have Littles away for winter break right now

- Text them, or better yet call them, to say “Good morning/Good night” every day

- Send them a sweet text or picture that lets them know that you’re thinking about them

- Give them a new stuffie or matching pajamas before they leave so they’ll think of you at night

- FaceTime movie dates are great for long distance even if it’s temporary

- Winter months can cause seasonal depression, look out for your little and watch for any signs of this in them

- Remember that being apart from a caregiver can be hard for a little. Don’t lash out if they seem upset/distant. Be comforting and understanding

- Be prepared to give your little a lot of attention once they return home to you
