"Seokmin-ah, have you seen my tie?" Minghao shouts and hopes his voice was loud enough for the mentioned to hear. He walks out of their shared bedroom and into the living room. He's greeted by a grinning Seokmin whose hands are behind his back. Minghao places a hand on his own hip and sighs. "Can I have my tie?"

Seokmin shakes his head.

"Can I please have my tie?"

He puffs up his cheeks and holds back his laughter.

"Please?" Minghao says as he walks towards the other. "I'm gonna be late to the press conference."

Seokmin suddenly makes a run for it and heads towards their bedroom. He is mischievous but Minghao is athletic. The suit he was wearing may have given him a disadvantage, but he was fast enough to grab Seokmin by the arm right before he was able to shut the door. He pulls the other into a back hug, effectively trapping him.

Seokmin struggles to get out of Minghao's hold. He wiggles but the other wouldn't budge. He continues to squirm but Minghao has other plans.

He leans into Seokmin and places his chin on the latter's shoulder. He faces Seokmin's head and kisses the spot behind his ear, a particularly sensitive area of his. He immediately stops moving, flushes red, and drops the tie.

Minghao pulls away and crouches to grab the fabric. "Thank you, jagiya."

Seokmin stands frozen still and watches him walk out the door.

"I'll be home by dinner!" He waves goodbye.

Minghao had done the forbidden: he fell in love. Angels aren't supposed to have any feelings nor emotional attachment to anyone and anything, but here he is, hopelessly in love with the human he's assigned to.

"You're aware of what'll happen to you, right?" Jeonghan, his mentor, comes up to him one day.

Minghao tries to feign ignorance, "I'm not sure I quite get what you mean."

"God knows all," he simply says. "You better stop before this gets out of hand, before you get kicked out of here."

How could he stop when Seokmin is just so perfect?
