Sidecar on macOS Catalina allows you to use your iPad as a second display, maybe because it’s a beta version, the display quality on iPad isn’t very well, and it’s very unstable. For those MBP 2015 or older Mac owners, you may not find Sidecar in system preference, you can use some terminal commands to enable this feature. And as I using this beta version for two days, I found out that I cannot play songs in Music (the new app that’s separated from iTunes) I’m a USA Apple Music Subscriber, and my iCloud account is registered in Chinese store, it’s probably the reason that why I can’t play music. I contacted Apple Genius Bar to seek solutions to this problem, but they suggested me to downgrade the macOS to previous official version, because Catalina is still a beta version, there’re a lots of bugs exist. Anyway, other than those errors, problems & bugs I’ve encountered these couple of days, everything’s fine with Catalina.
