My name is Abedmajed, and I live in Gaza with what remains of my once large and loving family.

In a single missile strike, we lost over 25 members of our family. They were not just names. They were mothers, daughters, sons, grandparents — people we shared meals with, laughed with, and built dreams with.

The missile hit our family home — the heart of everything we knew.

Among those killed were: 🕊️ My mother 🕊️ My sister 🕊️ My older brother His wife and their three daughters 🕊️ My uncle, his wife, and all their sons and grandchildren

We were left with nothing but rubble and grief. Yet somehow, my brother and I survived. And now, we carry the responsibility of rebuilding what was taken — not just for ourselves, but for our father, our surviving siblings, and the memory of those we lost.

Heinz and Charlene may have their share of troubles as a divorced couple, but no one can deny that they are good parents to Vanessa. A little bit overprotective at times, but what can one do, when their precious only child had entered puberty a bit too early for their comfort.

It's Quiet Uptown

The "II is corporate slop" argument falls flat when you remember that it's an indie production that's on youtube entirely for free. The II crew is more professional in their presentation now and a lot of the humor and writing was cleaned up, but that does not automatically make it corporate.

Actual corporate slop is when a big company sanitizes its productions to appeal to as many investors as possible and thus dampens or kills any good writing qualities the work may have had. Keywords: to appeal to investors. For example, making a bunch of unnecessary live action remakes or spinoffs for a franchise simply because people will reliably buy into it, or diluting the nuances in a plotline because it could possibly offend modern audiences and reduce revenue. It's about putting more money in pockets that are already stuffed.

With indie animation, though, the case is more often that money needs to be raised just to keep the production going. Sometimes, that means abiding by the rules set by the platform it's posted on in order to stay monetized. And sometimes writers just want to make their show more consistent and family friendly, and that's fine. In case I need to say it again btw, family friendly does not equal corporate. Professional does not equal corporate—it just means professional.

And I'm probably preaching to the choir here, but hey, since indie animation day just recently passed, this is your reminder to SUPPORT INDIE ANIMATION! If II isn't your vibe, that's okay! There are plenty of other indie shows starting up that could use some love, like Talon or Port by the Sea or The Art of Murder or ANY of the incredible works being produced nowadays.

Indie projects are pretty much always created out of a place of pure, unfiltered passion and creativity. I hate to see misdirected hate in these communities. If you wanna be angry at corporate slop, go bash Disney. It's always good to bash disney <3

I’ve received a lot of hate over the last year for asking for money as if it’s not humiliating enough. I wish I could stop. I wish I could get my degree, get a job and provide for my family, but that’s impossible now, impossible, and this is our only option. Flour has almost become extinct and the price of a bag will soon reach $1,000 again, just like last year, at the height of the famine, when all we could eat was grass and animal feed. Please don’t let us go back to the lowest point of our lives.

My whole family is experiencing dizzy spells all day long from the hunger. Soon I will go back to that sorry state I was in just a few months ago, when I fainted multiple times a day, every day. All of the food we can find goes to my grandmother and my youngest sister first, but the rest of us still need to eat. We are a family of ten rapidly starving in northern Gaza.

Please help, I swear I’ll be thankful for anything. If you can’t afford to donate, or if you don’t trust me enough to, then please at least share and I won’t ask more of you. Please.

One of the things that is a stronger anti ai stance and makes more sense is mostly that the billions in dollars tied to it are not gaining any revenue. Companies believe this is the cure to their ails (having to pay workers) when often hallucinations just cause more work and often it still requires cheap labor overseas to moderate.

OpenAI projected 125 billion in revenue despite the fact that they have been losing revenue every year and the ceo recently said people just saying hello and please costs them millions.

Thats why AI is everywhere because companies have sunk billions and billions into it and the only way they make money is if it becomes a revolution akin to the printing press.

It has its use cases but i think statistical ai is more valuable in cancer research and wildlife conservation rather generative ai is gonna make companies able to print money and forget about workers and customers to generate wealth.

Thats my main issue with AI everything else is like small beans and fighting for stricter copyright to own the AI is just a self own of collective knowledge im afraid

Yeah, I see the way Mandark interacts with the PPG rogue gallery is close to how you set it up. The key difference for me, however, is when he interacts with certain key people (Mojo Jojo, the Rowdyruff Boys, and Princess Morbucks) and the reason for wanting work with them in the first place.

The reason Mandark would want to work with these villains would be to get back at the PPG and, by extension, Dexter.

Mojo Jojo: The way to understand these two would be to look at Dexter and the Professor's dynamic. Like the old short from CN City, Dexter would be antagonistic towards the Professor due to him not being able to make successful inventions sans the PPG [which would count as a happy accident]. I think, overtime, Dexter would mellow out and see the Professor as a mentor/father figure in the field of science. If we go by the episode "Coupon for Craziness", Dexter wouldn't be against having an adult figure who cuts from the same scientific cloth. And if we were going to be honest, the Professor would bond with Dexter after he looks past the sarcastic and arrogant surface the Boy Genius has.

That is where the reverse of this relationship comes to play: Mojo and Mandark would be cordial with each other since they are close in the villain world. Overtime, they'd be friendly towards each other until their egos would clash, and eventually, while they would remain profesionally tolerant of the other, start secretly hating and prepping for the others' downfall.

Rowdyruff Boys: The boys would not like Dexter, especially Brick. Ever since Dex and Buttercup have been hanging out, the leader of the Rowdyruff Boys had a bone to pick with him. The boys have had multiple instances of bullying/attacking Dexter, only to be outsmarted and outgunned by him or deal with the PPG the minute after. Mandark would notice this and take advantage of the situation by approaching the boys personally. After all, a friend of Dexter is an eventual enemy for Mandark, even the superpowered kind.

At first the trio would not take him seriously, especially Brick, who may not be smart but can see through Mandark’s bullshit. It's only when he explains how he hates Dexter ans much as the boys despise the PPG where their partnership is formed, although, Mandark made it clear to them that his ire is only on Dexter, so they leave Dee Dee alone. The partnership would be one of mutual benefits: The RRB assist Mandark in whatever mission is required for them to be while Mandark helps the boys get strong (simulation rooms/super suits/etc.) or give them whatever it is they want (a video game system/rooms/new sneakers). The RRB would still view Mandark as a nerd and Mandark would see the boys a superpowered simpletons but they at least have a solid partnership.

Princess Morbucks: Now this one is interesting. Mandark would see Princess Morbucks as a financial partner in which he can use her as way to create weapons in which to deal with the PPG while Princess would be impressed by Mandark’s genius and would trust him enough to innovate in a way to help takedown the both the PPG and Dexter, especially the latter since the young Morbucks kept getting rejected by the Boy Genius on all fronts.

All in all, Dexter would develop a friendship with the PPG, while Mandark would only make partnerships with the girls' rogue gallery.

I asked in the past about what type of relationships would Decter have with the PPG. This time, I'm curious about your headcanoning with this one:

What would relationships would Mandark have with the PPG Rogue Gallery, specifically Mojo, the RRB, Princess, and HIM?

I like using Super Secret Crisis War as a spring-off point, so to me Mandark used to be Mojo's "teammate". They're from different worlds though, they don't really "meet" often. Fanfic specials only.

Both Mandark and Dexter are too consumed by their experiments to really care about anything unless it threatens them OR gives them a chance to swoop in and save the world. Mandark at least has the obsession with DEEEEEEE DEEEEEEEE that sorta tethers him to reality and makes him give a shit (while simultaneously making him delusional). I mean, he betrayed Aku and fucked up the whole plan for her; he's comfortable in evil, but won't hesitate to discard it if Deedee is in danger. It doesn't mean THAT much to Mandark to be "Evil", it's just useful to be evil in the name of science, where ethics might get in the way of progress and innovation.

He probably dismisses all of Townsville and the rest of their "world" as completely ridiculous, seeing his own dimension as the better, more "logical" one. I can see him trying to find or steal Chemical X once he learns it's a distilled version of his former boss, perhaps even using it to develop new robots the way Extor does in Samurai Jack.

As far as the Townsvillains go, I really don't think he would care unless one of them went after Deedee because DEXTER started screwing with them first.

“kids spend too much time on their devices” well what else are they supposed to do? there’s no corner shops with pinball machines in them on every corner anymore. there’s no malls or stores in small towns for teens to hang out in without being suspected of shoplifting or kicked out for loitering. sidewalks are too broken for them to ride their bikes and there’s no bike lane in the street to make it safe for them. i just don’t understand where they expect these kids to go when they keep taking places away from them. and yes having no safe public places for them is what leads a lot of teens into addiction if they end up at a place where people aren’t truly looking out for them.
